Oh my god! The complexity of the instrumentation is unbelievable!
Ive been going through a lot recently, and this song is seriously one of the only things thats been keeping me going.
It really changes your mood . Music can be therapy. Such a great song.
I love these guys & I've been a fan for a few years now! I fell in love with a ton of Canadian music (I live in the U.S.) a few years back when I found 'The Verge' channel on Sirius XM.
I'm a tenor vocalist & keyboardist who has had experience writing songs and also producing music. I also enjoy listening to an eclectic mix of genres, and I've always had an itch to discover and promote great artists.
Half Moon Run is not only a good example of one of many very talented overlooked, underrated, and under-promoted artists from the Great White North, but I think they have the songwriting, sound and talent (exponentially so, live) to be a worldwide phenomenon.
I know they've won Juno Awards, but these guys have deserved the kind of award that were given for musical excellence in days past when the Grammys were actually genuine.
From the states here as well,.. about 30 miles north of Windsor. I freakin' love Canada, Canadian artists, music, art and their collective take on things.
I discovered Full Moon Run back in 2013, hearing their release of *Full Circle*, original studio version first, then even better, their acoustic version in the *Crouch Hill Sessions*-- that song STILL cuts to my heart deeply in any form I hear it, but mostly their acoustic version in the *Crouch HIll Sessions*. I will always associate it with my son going off to college in Detroit. I was hooked on HMR.
I absolutely love these guys on a number of levels. They are some terrific undervalued and unsung musicians and song writers that deserve MUCH more exposure and respect than I'm sure they get. I hope they get it all.

Devon actually sounded off in this performance. Maybe he was under the weather or something because he usually sounds even better than this! Seen them live a few times and have watched many performances online. Check out their COVID vids. His voice is dynamic and sharper than it is here. Anyway, they're a deadly band.
