In Spain, in NY'S it's typical to have dinner with family. The most typical food seafood and meat. At twelve everybody eat 12 grapes, as the twelve months to have good luck. If you only eat 3 grapes, you will only have good luck until March. When people finish they say "Happy new year" and they give two kisses🎉.

There is a big list of the religious festivals that are celebrated in India. In a secular country like India people light up their homes with as many lights on Diwali as on Christmas, the fireworks are as loud as on Onam. The colours of Holi are spread across the castes and creeds. On the occasion of Raksha Bandhan an unspoken pledge is exchanged between, a brother and sister cementing their fraternal relationship. Hindus commemorate the birth anniversaries of their deities as Ram Navami, Maha Shivratri, Janam Ashtami similarly, the Sikhs remember their gurus on Gurpurab.

In Azerbaijan,we believe that,if you celebrate this holiday with your family only especially at midnight, the upcoming year will be extremely happy. As a nation we are fond of eating and trying new delights, but the fixed menu for this holiday is the same: plov and capital salad and some alcohol. After some days we keep eating the same meals that was prepared that night. At midnight,we listen to our president's celebration speech(it is also solidarity day in our country) watch and blow up fireworks and go to bed.
