- Bruges is the capital and largest city of the province of West Flanders in the Flemish Region of Belgium, in the northwest of the country. It is the sixth most populous city in the country.
The area of the whole city amounts to more than 14,099 hectares (140.99 km2; 54.44 sq miles), including 1,075 hectares off the coast, at Zeebrugge.
The historic city centre is a prominent World Heritage Site of UNESCO.
The city's total population is 117,073 (1 January 2008), of whom around 20,000 live in the city centre.
The metropolitan area, including the outer commuter zone, covers an area of 616 km2 (238 sq mi) and had a total of 255,844 inhabitants as of 1 January 2008.
Along with a few other canal-based northern cities, such as Amsterdam and Saint Petersburg, it is sometimes referred to as the Venice of the North.
Bruges has significant economic importance, thanks to its port, and was once one of the world's chief commercial cities.

I've been to many historical places in Europe, inclusive of Prague, Wrocław, Krakow, Venezia, and Firenze, etc., but I never got a chance to visit Bruges. I found this town unbelievably pretty and beautiful. It looks almost like a theme park in medieval period. Each and every corner is extremely picturesque! Even swans are elegantly and nobly swimming or resting on the lawn as if they were trained to behave there in the most exquisite way. If I get a chance to visit there, I think I will forget the hustle and bustle of busy city life and won't be able to return...

I visited Brugge in 1977 when I was stationed in Germany. Sure looks different but I recognized many of the sights you walked by. I took a boat tour also while there. The only bad thing about Brugge was that I ate some smoked eel at a restaurant on the main plaza and got extremely ill that night and had to have a doctor come to the hotel room and pump my backside full of cement (well, it felt like it) and that all stopped. The next morning I left for Ghent.
Wow!😥 It's a long time ago, but you'll never forget it.😱
If there were no such bad memories, Bruges is a place I would really like to visit again.😉

Next quantum improvement will be your attention to the audio. It went from exquisite to excruciating many times due to wind rumble. For me it is like fingernails on chalkboard irritating. Walking Alice, my Wife and I were just in Bruges, Belgium two days ago on June 17th! What a lovely, charming little city. Your video was almost as if you were walking right along with us as we walked by many of the same sights featured in your video. We may have actually stepped through your footprints. I highly recommend this stop for any traveler passing through this part of Europe. We are presently enjoying a few days in Amsterdam.

Bruges is an incredibly beautiful city. I was there once for work, so I didn't have much time to explore the city in detail, but what I saw really impressed me. The mix of Dutch and French architecture is fantastic. French and Dutch culture couldn't be more different, but that's what makes Belgium so interesting. I did some research to see which country has the most types of beer. In fact, it's still Germany, followed by Belgium and the Czech Republic. However, considering that Belgium is much smaller than Germany, the selection of different beers is amazing. By the way, I think it's great that you also visit the smaller countries and cities in Europe. Europe has more interesting places to offer than just London, Paris, Rome or Barcelona. As always, it was a special experience to walk with you. I have been accompanying you for over 3 years now and have not missed a single walk. Have a nice day, my best travel friend. 🥰❤

Как с помощью санкций против России борются с больными онкологией, психиатрическими заболеваниями и многими другими. Лекарства перестали поступать в страну, и страдают в первую очередь простые люди. Где же так любимая западом толерантность? Те, кто стравил славян на взаимное уничтожение, только руки потирают от предвкушения своей победы. Эти сущности , которых и людьми назвать нельзя, плюют на народы всех стран, для них страдания и боль людей недоступны. Хватит рассказывать сказки и басни, очернять огульно всех. Пора решать всё мирным путем, а нелюдей отправить в подземные бункеры, которые они уже построили для себя. Иначе мир очень быстро скатится с их подачи и к ядерным ударам. Смотрю на внуков и душа болит за их будущее. Власть ястребов пора менять, им денег всегда будет мало, а человеческие жизни они не ценят, это пора понять уже всем. Миру мир!
