- This the first run of the prototype 1.5" Scale gas (propane/butane) fired live steam model. This is the big brother to the popular 3/4" scale model that has been so well received, and in time we hope to offer all the options that the 3/4" Range has to offer.
This model will be supplied with a displacement lubricator with the option to put a crankshaft water pump & belly tank on to increase run times.
High quality model made using the best materials to ensure a long service life, stainless steel motion, bronze bearings and copper boiler will give you years of good service and enable you to enjoy your steam model for years to come!
beautiful, actually sounds clean and brand new
I love my coal fired 3" Aveling & Porter. I just need the boiler retesting and I'll be doing the rounds of the rallies! Sadly last weekend's Sheffield steam rally had to be cancelled due to some faceless, jobsworth, council bureaucrat adding unattainable 'safety' requirements at the last minute!
I would definitely add the optional crankshaft feed pump if I were to purchase one of these
Nice little loco
Does this have a differential? On the 3/4" version it's a solid rear axle and it really seems to 'push' when trying to steer sharply
Is she basically a bigger version to the 3/4” version?
I would assume so
Those ought to fly off the shelves!
Needs bigger wings. lol. However more manageable than my 3" Aveling & Porter from the same stable.
In the middle of the night
i think you guys should just make a 2" scale coal fired traction engine
extremely interested....wonder what the price will be......?????
The introduction price is around £2,995
Look on maxitrax
needs an oiler on the trunk guide.
it has one!
Would this be able to pull a grown man or would I need a larger scale engine? I like the idea of driving the engine.
Yes most definitely!
@@MaxitrakMes will these soon be available also at accucraft usa in california? i see the 3/4 inch scale ones but not the 1.5
