What you plant depends on what time you need the plants to be ready. Clover is better planted in the fall or frost seeded in late winter/early spring. Brassicas do better this time of year.

Also you can lay your cinder block on a old piece of plywood and fill the holes with ready mix cement and it will add more weight them.
