- ARE THRIFT STORES WATCHING RESELLING VIDEOS have to be common. It's how we learn ourselves from watching one another. As my wife says, it's business and opinions can get pretty wild with what is right and wrong.
It's comes down to the most common practise to improve and that's to learn from others who are better. And of course learn on our own from getting our hands dirty.

Yes, they watch all thrifting videos . I’m friends with a manager with a small independent thrift . She designates individual staff members to watch a certain category. Example , someone who resells pop culture etc. She has mentioned you lol.
And don’t forget about google lens . Busted 😂

Sometimes if im unsure how a stores policy is I typically take an item to purchase but ask them to open or take the tape off to check.
LOL! I had that peach colored southwest design dinnerware in the 80's. I think I bought it at KMart.
At 5:47 the southwestern looking bowl, I think is Treasure Craft. It has a T/C on the bottom. Oh my gosh! If I just kept watching, you found out it is Treasure Craft!

The orange tree Florida souvenir piece is actually a holder for salt and pepper shakers. But it was missing the oranges that are the salt and pepper shakers that hang from each end of the branches ❤

Yes GW has raised its prices because they see what resellers get for items. So it’s really NOT good for resellers to divulge that info. 😮

Yes! I much prefer to watch resellers thrift at antique stores vs Goodwills. I personally do not like Goodwills, but that’s just me!
I’ll give it a try sometime. The few times I gone the music was blasting and the prices weren’t for me, but I’ll try again, hopefully soon 😊

I know of one reseller who helped goodwill. Soon after supposedly was ripping people off. Doing some shady business.

@@SonnyLasVegas Not all of Blue Mountain sells Sonny. It's nice pottery but if you get something that was mass produced you are going to sit on it until you get sick of looking at it. Frankoma out of Oklahoma is the same.

@@SonnyLasVegas hopefully they are checking sell through amounts. I was thinking today that we still have a better deal because we look for used basically one of a kind. We are personal shoppers for everyone . I don't believe sell through rates work that well for rare things OOAK etc
