@Floyd. B Dumbell Chest Supported rows is by far the most effective one, bringing the dumbells more forward and not the your sides and rowing the up to your shoulders with emphasis on engaging your scapula feels like a chiropractor adjustment to me!Everything else ai do just supplements that

I mean, a strong back can contribute to an overall stability of the spine, but to the point that it fixes cervical instability? Maybe the neck is also trained during the exercise idk. Did you manage to cure your instability?
That could be a sign of upper cervical instability, or it could be a sign of an entrapped nerve that is getting more irritated with your specific stretches.

I was recommended stretching in the sub oxipital area, it would mess me up bad for days
