There will never be another exciting time like the time when this song came out. This song was big in the summer of 2000. It was being blasted out of everyone's car, stoop, fire escape, apartment, etc. Being from the Bronx we had so much pride when Big Pun was popping 1998-2000. Queens and Brooklyn dominated rap (commercially) for years and although the Bronx had rapper's we didn't have a star like BK had Biggie when he was alive. Lord Tariq & Peter Gunz kicked it off with "Deja Vu" then Pun hit it was a wrap

Best part of this song is the chorus. I went through some tough times in college and law school and would sing along to the chorus to motivate me to follow through.
