It is my personal mission this season to be able to listen to God's Word clearly. Bill brought up a few important concepts that spoke to me, like having a heightened awareness of the Holy Spirit, and walking in the Holy Spirit until it becomes a second nature to hear God in us speaking. Jesus's lambs know His voice. I pray I'll be able to discern His voice every day in my life.

Well this is different brother Peters, but true what you suggest as well. It's just that it seems most Christians already know this - hearing by reading the Word. Bill is taking hearing to another level...I believe he's talking about a less often understood way of hearing from God... the Remah word.
I figure this cuz for me I went 20+ years only hearing by reading the Word, which is good, but all that time I could have been having personal encounters hearing His voice in my spirit if you know what I mean... now I'm more in touch with the Lord and being lead in a much closer personable way all the while the Bible is lining up with what I'm hearing
Shalom, I understand what you are trying to put in words. I have become familiar with Heavenly Father n Yeshua's voice reading the bible. Now I know when sometimes, They converse with me in my mind.
Sharing something The Holy Spirit helped me understand. When we are born again, we are born as spirit, living in a vessel of flesh. And**only**The Holy Spirit can teach how to live as a spirit. My humble advice, make friends with The Holy Spirit. Learn what He likes, n what He does not like. Things that did not bother u before, seem to bother u now. That is actually The Holy Spirit's feeling, which is transmitted to u. Another thing Holy Spirit likes to bring bible verses to mind. Treat Him as your bestie n**don't**hurt His feelings, n you are set. I have learned to obey, so 'Bestie' n I get on just fine.😊

I'm learning more and more how He speaks. I have had Him speak in a myriad of ways. One way is in the atmosphere.
Recently I was on my way to church, I was about 2 miles from church when it started raining a little bit and the sun was out. I was talking to the Lord and I said "I know there's a rainbow, but I don't know where it is." I heard in my spirit "It's over the church." When I got there low and behold, there was a double rainbow over the church and the sun shone on the church and lit it up. It was a confirmation moment. I love confirmations! 💛

And therefore i ask u too pray for me that ALL and ANY evil and strongholds in my life be brought down never to return again. I love having people pray for me as i too love praying for people. But pray a supernatural triple anointing of HOLINESS over my life that i may be stronger in the Spirit of our Holy Lord Jesus than ever before and may it only increase. You don't have to constantly look for God's voice, that's not normal. God doesn't speak much. If you want to hear God's voice, the word is there. You don't have to look for voices. Let's stick to the word's guidance, because the written word is God's voice. If someone wants it differently do this, you will go astray.
His voice is never instead of scripture. It amplifies it, giving us grace, enabling us to walk in what He has commanded. Without His voice, you don't know of your need for a savior, and are already astray.

It has nothing to do with actually hearing the voice of God. Bill Johnson is for ever lifting texts out of context to make them say what he wants them to say. I am not denying Scripture at all. Exactly the opposite, I am discerning what it is actually teaching

In response to the repeated requests to "like" your videos, I only "like" videos I judge to be worth re-watching sometime. Sorry, but I been enjoying Bill, but feeling annoyed at the commercials. I watch his videos for the purpose of edifying myself, but find that the annoying commercials leave me frustrated which was not the reason I was watching.

The preacher also seems to be very aware of the scientific rules of evidence. He jokes about it a few times, and the audience laughs.
