I want to say something here. I believe in Jesus Christ yes. But honestly I am saying, I haven’t finished whole bible. I read in fragments. I had finished new testament but I never took it in my heart. And because of this I used to drive away from God and do evil, dirty things. Briefly I would repent but would get lost again. It was because I never kept my God’s word. Devil had me easy. But God is good. He never abandoned me. With His grace, I have started reading Bible with patience because it takes me quite a long time to understand the Word. And for the first time I am finding the scriptures I used to hear in sermons but didn’t know where they are written, oh how joyful it is. I found Revelation 3:20 today. Oh how happy I became. God made me happy again. God I don’t believe in myself because I have gone astry too many times to believe in myself. Thats why I won’t say and also I am not confident to say that I will not stop reading Your Word from now on. But I want to pray and ask You to help me read and seek You and hear You in Your word till the day I sleep in You. Because I cannot do anything without You Holy Spirit my God. Thank You and I love You. Amen. Praise the Lord our Jesus Christ.
Hey thank you for your testimony. I appreciate you being open with your walk with God. I struggle with trusting in Jesus Christ because I doubt. Doubt I believe enough or have faith enough, but just as you discover, God shows us how. After all we are born with a sinful nature and it being born again, and learning from Holy spirit.
I also do like you do. But Just an opinion, try reading the Bible without having in mind
Meaning, try not to understand it Just let your Bible reading flow whatever book or chapter or verse you would stop. Just read through. After reading, you pray. And then let the day pass. But if you want to some understanding about your Bible reading, try to pause for awhile after reading. Close your eyes and meditate some words youve read. You will get a personal experience. It's either some Scriptures will be retained in your mind. And just get the pure reading experience...

Amen to the fact we need him to succeed in our walk. I have similar experiences all throughout my life but one thing I kept doing is trying to overcome sin by myself. That becomes an exercise in futility and just recently he has delivered me from sexual immortality(for me this manifested itself in pornography and masterbation). Our LORD is slowly walking me towards his path for me. We must never forget we do it with him.
The Lord keeps us ask him to keep you
3 months ago I was delivered from many demons of witchcraft, homosexuality, depression, suicide, rejection, and so many others. God has used this man to bless my life so much and to grow in Christ and His truth. God bless you Pastor Vlad, you are a pure man with God’s authority and heart to heal this generation. Speaking truth without sugarcoating, this is what we need to be truly free!

I'm the same age as you, I'm sorry for your loss. Those in Christ, we are strangers on earth, in the world but not of the world. Though we suffer the pain of loss while here, the sufferings of this world can't even compare to the promises of the next, so take time to mourn, pray, cry, deal with the emotions don't push them down, I suggest reading the book of Job. And yet while you mourn, look onward with hope because we look not to things seen, but to the things unseen(2 Corinthians 4:18). It's from that hope that we aim to be good stewards of the things we see in the present time. It's ok to be sad, I will pray for you and your family.

Disappointment is inevitable. But to become discouraged, there's a choice I make. God would never discourage me. He would always point me to himself to trust him. Therefore, my discouragement is from Satan. As you go through the emotions that we have, hostility is not from God, bitterness, unforgiveness, all of these are attacks from Satan.
