Hakai doesn't work on thor or any type of ki, thor can absorb it easily, that's why that final flash he did at the end he managed to absorb it and use all of its power to kill the prince

Yeah, I feel this is always the thing with Death Battle, they scale characters weaker than normal, but almost always get the results right.
