This video is an overview of the midi map i created for DJ Player Pro (iOS) and the Denon MCX8000. I've put in a lot of general DJ Player Pro / iOS information as well.

Hetto I get two issues 1 individual channels do not show meter and 2 sync is always on????

He hallo Jeroen. Yes it will, djpp is backward compatible with a lot of iPad models. also the app is much improved now see: djplayerpro.com

Any suggestion for a 30pins cable that works and can charge the ipad in meantime as well?
@@jeroenjacobs6495 ahh i didn't (don't) remember but i'm afraid that's probably impossiblele: see section '7.2. Devices with USB connectors' in the manual on the site, there's only 1 30 pin connector mentioned and it doesn't allow djplayerpro.com/manual#devices-with-ios-connectors-30-pin-or-lightning

Hi Hetto Have you looked into connecting the New Denon SC5000 Prime Units to a IPad???
Phil Gaitan Hi Phil, no I haven't :-) I have no access to the Prime series. I'm sure it will work though and it might be awesome maybe, however to make the screens of the SC5000's work with dj player, it would have to be done 'in house' by the dj player app developer (and with Denon). I am not the Dev of DJPP, just an enthusiast user :-) While I don't care much about the MCX screens (currently) not working with this, it would be awful to have empty screens, and no touch on the SC5000 I suppose! Maybe one day we'll see this happening/ arrive, but it won't be done by me, I don't think :-) Cheers

can't get it connected... I can see that the map is on DJPP app, but where am I supposed to plug the iPad? in the USB HUB TO PC slot or... it doesn't say in the instructions.
Do you have a camera connection kit / lightning USB adapter?
iPad > CCK/USB : MCX usb into usb adapter (MCX side is the normal USB port) . With the Apple USB 3 Camera adapter, you can also plug, and charge, the iPad power cable via this adapter

Thank you for your advice! I did try the other setting and each and every setting. So I am clear from left to right what setting do I put each channel on on my MCX 8000...What kind of clamps do you us for your iPad to MCX 8000?
Cool, so it's all working now??? I have the "iKlip Studio" stand - google that..The size is perfect in the top middle of the MCX! I use 2 'things' to get the other half of the iKlip on height - i'll send you the pic's of that on FB..

Ok, i'm sure it must be this: there are 2 midi maps included. the one with 'HM' in the filename, is for 'Hybrid Mixing' with Engine USB on ch 1&2. I think you using this one, instead of the one with '4D' in the filename: four decks + four input meters.. 2] You can always turn sync on/off etc, but the 'preference' is determined in the 'settings' in the DJPP app. look in the menu, and select your preference.. PS: DJPP has 3 states, also 3x press on sync on the MCX: Manual mixing / tempo sync / beat sync. Hope you're liking it! Cheers.
Hi Hetto have you seen a mapping for DJ Player Pro for Pioneer CDJ 2000 NXS2 with DJM NXS2?
Phil Gaitan Hi :-) No, I don't know of any. I have seen a short video once of a CDJ2000 with DJPP on iPad hooked to it. I think it all must be possible, but nobody really had the idea, or 'felt the need' of combining that hardware with this app... ;-) cheers
