But, cool to see how to use both. I'm curious about the lighting interfaces. Mic cord to my Marygel box syncs. No upgrades or unique cords. Crazy lighting box. Full effect. Again thanks!!
The MCX 8000 , is awesome DJ controller. Works great with serato, or in standalone, I only use standalone ( Engine ) as a emergency backup only if my laptops fails . If you purchase the MCX 8000 you won't regret it, it a very well built professional controller. Any past issues with this controller that have been posted about it in the past i believe have been fixed. My MCX 8000 once I set it up correctly and formatted it to FAT32 worked flawlessly. The set up was the only problem I had with it, some off the down loading INSTRUCTIONS were incorrect. If your using a PC ( windows 10 ) download the windows driver first or you will have issues with it. ( corrupt files or controller not recognize ) . If you do have any issues, uninstall any serato & engine application, and restart ur computer and reinstall the software...... once the software is installed properly the MCX 8000 is a awesome DJ controller one of the best or the best in my opinion. Very well done! I haven't actually analyzed my files in engine yet. I loaded the software and it seems totally usable for standalone but I hope I never have to use it.

Elias Blake It has issues communicating with Serato if you A. Use a long cable B. Do not have a pre-analyzed song and you try to load it. C. If you are running i5 processors. The occurrence is fairly uncommon.
Matthew Korycki for the price range; It stands on its own. It has more features than the SX, and also has a better build and sound quality than the SX.
What the best buffer size for this ? I'm using a windows 10 machine 8 ram , no wifi on and running the latest software and firmware. Problem I'm getting is sometimes when I'm playing a sound on serato the music just stick. I have to turn off the device and put it back on. Thanks

hi there!I have a problem with my denon mcx 8000 when I press stop buton he repeat the sound where I stop same like when im looping...that hepened when im in engine mode when im in serato and I play stop buton it happens same like a stoped turntable...this things are normal or should I send it back for new one?I hope you can help me,all good!

DjTechZone Considering it's the controller in its price range to offer anything like this: seems like a decent trade off. You are also connected to Serato already for search features (unless in engine) so it does not seem like it's really needed for more extended searching options.

Alchemix I use stand alone as a backup in case I need it. So I have my hard drives mirrored in case my laptop fails.

Augustin Bratie check your turntable adjust. Sounds like your adjust is not at zero.
