I though those domes were scanning towers and not shield generators. I don't know if people keep getting them mixed up, but I thought even George Lucas himself confirmed that.

One day, Star Wars will understand a laser travels at the speed of light or that a turbolaser the size of a house CANNOT BE PHYSICALLY STOPPED by a little shitty ship's magic shield
On the other hand, star wars blasters aren't lasers, they're plasma weapons, which in current physics would somewhat explain why everything is fought at the same range as black powder warfare.
@@mmouse1886 there's another video on plasma weapons and how little sense the make, as the plasma would just become a cloud as soon as it gets out of the cannon...Star Wars is not realistic at all, but it did great starting the space scifi genre

As much as I hate TCW, some of the new modells are really really good. The Arquitens and the B3 Battledroid, just to name 2. But this Shows Story sucks ass bro.
