Because she just wanted to put down Chloe after she placed second to a girl she brought on the team. Chloe performance obviously wasn’t a hot mess if she placed second over all the others great and talented dancers there at the competition. Sophia is a known turner and she put nothing but turns in her routine because she knew her technique on her turns is spot on therefore great difficulty and execution. Chloe had a beautiful solo but she knew it wasn’t going to enough compared Sophia turn sequences.

Sarah and Payton needs to have better mothers, all the arguments that Leslie and Christy got into with Abby is destorying Payton’s reputation and Sarah’s independence/confidence. Ik I’m 3 years late lol but she was most definitely a bully to Sophia and her mom for no reason all because she expected that she could leave then come back and automatically get a solo but Chloe was innocent that season her mother wasn’t
Did anyone else realize that when new moms came in they were always like why can’t my child get a solo even if she’s not on the team but then when someone else came in they would always give out about new people getting solos
i feel bad for ally's mom. she was so sweet and respectful. i think she really understood the mother's frustrations but also understood her place and just wanted a nice experience for her daughter.

Claire Flanagan for esthetic purposes, plus Chloe stil stood out with her blonde hair in a dark costume almost identical to all the others in a see of darker hair. At my school when we were casting for our version of the lightning thief musical we did pay attention to hair color if they were refusing to wear a wig... I played Percy, but the girl we originally wanted to play Annabeth had dark brown hair and refused to wear a blonde wig so we decided to recast her as Clarisse (we hadn’t decided on Clarisse yet) and pick out a new Annabeth. This time it was a blondie, but she had short hair so she still had to wear a wig. Oh and no I wasn’t picked as Percy because I was part of the casting crew, I wasn’t in charge of the casting for Percy because I knew I was going to try out myself! According to the others they picked me because of the raw emotions I portrayed during the salty daddy issues scenes...

I never understood why the mom get so mad when a new person gets a solo. They always say they shouldn’t get one because they’re not on the team yet but if they didn’t get a solo then why did they bring them in?

They could’ve brought them in because they needed an extra person for the group dance, or if someone was kicked off the team and needed to be replaced. I think the moms are rightfully upset because their kids work hard for weeks and don’t get solos (except for Maddie) and a new person just walks in and is handed a solo

“Stupid dance terminology” excuse me!! Dance terminology is very much necessary and important when a dance instructor is showing you a choreography or doing warming up exercises. Why do the girls learn their dance quickly, because of dance terminology, Abby doesn’t need to go with each girl and show her what to do, just by using the terminology they already know what to do, that’s what makes very good dancers and other various factor too.

I feel so bad for Chloe because she is such a sweet, caring, talented, little girl. I think the reason Abby was so mean to her is because her mom was so aggressive and rude to many people. That doesn’t make it ok for Abby to be mean to Chloe though. I get that Maddie was favourited but I also think that was because Abby was more of an aunt figure to her because she was close to Melissa aside from the fact that she is obviously very talented. It was not Maddie or Melissa fault that Maddie was favourited and I feel like both of them get unnecessary hate because of it and everyone favours Christi for being very rude to them a lot of the time. Chloe did get lots of attention and solos and Christi complained a lot.
Christi wasn’t rude she was standing up for her child because nobody else would. Also Melissa lies about many things just to get her kid ahead.
I used to like Christi but sadly I heard she started liking comments that were talking bad about Season 8 Dancers. I still like her a lot better than most of the moms though.
