Jill wrote on her homepage, that she began playing violin with 3 years; that she attended the high school attached to the Faculty of Music, Tokyo University of the Arts, and then studied at the same Faculty. She graduated from university with honours; then "[s]he has won numerous international competitions, including the highest ranking in the Japanese musician competition" (translation by google; unfortunately, she didn't give more details there; as it doesn't even seem possible to get her full/real name, there is no easy way to find out more about her professional career). Jill most probably could have achieved international success as a classical violonist, even as soloist, I assume.
So you now have an idea who Jill is, and who Unlucky Morpheus (commonly named Ankimo by the band itself) is, as well (they are all badass musicians, but I don't need to tell you that, I guess ...).
Here is another cover of Dream Theater's Dance of Eternity by Jill (from 2016): czcams.com/video/LUtdC-9jaPc/video.html
Fun Fact on Jill, from the japanese's wikipedia entry on Unlucky Morpheus: "She loves alcohol, and when she traveled abroad with the band, she appeared with Smirnoff in one hand at an airport meeting and surprised the [other] members. In the backyard behind the stage, canned beer with a straw stuck in it is on standby." (slightly altered automated translation).
She is even headbanging while playing violin ...
Addendum: One week ago, Lovebites released a phenomenal new song (the video taken in a live performance early 2021): "Set the world on fire" is a tune with very remarkable, even brilliant, harmonic as well as rhythmic inspirations: Don't hesitate to check it - czcams.com/video/99zsH6iG_6c/video.html !

I'm pretty sure I requested Unlucky Morpheus before.
Try Black Pentagram, music video. They have a live but it is a little muddy.
The drummer is a true athlete.

Believe it or not there is more likely less money with japanese bands than there is in the west. Japanese metal music is very underground, a big crowd for a concert is around 500 people, unless you've made it big. The Japanese music industry tends to leave metal bands alone, as they have the big cash cow of J-pop, So most metal bands are independent, which is why they might actually have more money for videos and other things, no big company watching the pennies.
Unlucky Morpheus are one of those bands that are truely independent. The singer of the full band, is the one who had to go to all the record labels and get permision for them to be able to do all the covers on the EP, not something she wants to do again in a hurry, if ever.
Jill on violin is just so good, she has even done a live stream where is did this track blindfolded czcams.com/video/8eZVVtaOBKk/video.html
Funiya is just a beast behind the drum kit, if you want to see him at work and his kit 【Cover】Tony MacAlpine - Hundreds Of Thousands (Cover) feat. FUMIYA. Also like most drummers he has a cam on him at live live shows, some of them are posted on his own channel or the Unlucky Morpheus channel.
The bassist Ogawa is really a jazz bassist, he is in the band as he was friends with the other members before he joined. He was a protégé of Mikio Fujioka, who you may know from Babymetal's Kami band, were in a band called Trick Box, way back in 2008. He became freinds of the bands founder and lead guitarist, Shiren (not in the video), back when they were in Uni together.
If you want something from the full band try "Angreifer" "Black Pentagram" "Tower Of the Blood"

It's fun to see Ogawa-san dressed up and not looking like they found him on the street somewhere! Great comment, I love this band. Saw them in London at MM, the whole festival was awesome.

I mean, is it really surprising? Japan is a rather big country, but also pretty insular. The potential market for Western bands is a lot bigger. I think one factor in Japan's favour is the huge and really lively concert scene though. There are tons of venues for bands to play in. That includes school bands even.

I think Jill is the best rock/jazz/fusion violinist since Jean-Luc Ponty, and certainly the best in the world today. Fumiya (drummer) is insane and inexhaustible. Thanks for featuring them. You have to see the whole band too. My suggestion for a first live clip is "Angreifer"--it's spectacular. czcams.com/video/gGKWgM4IOgc/video.html

And now they've put out a live version, only it's preceded by Jill playing Van Halen's "Eruption" on violin. Here's the link.

These guys are awesome! Jill, the violinist is a wild child, according to the other members of the band. She reminds me of a goth Alice in Wonderland. She started playing the violin at the age of three. If you love this song, you should watch "Cover】Yngwie Malmsteen - Far Beyond The Sun (Violin Cover) czcams.com/video/E2hZDzJp9Pc/video.html" 1.1 Mil views. This song is great, but Jill especially is way better in "Far Beyond The Sun". Everyone has a small solo in it, and of course they all perfrom their part flawlessly. It's one of my favorite videos that I watch all the time. I've recommended it to you before, a long time ago.
