  • Disabled activist and veteran Zan Thornton organized free, accessible rides for more than 150 people during the 2020-2021 Georgia senate elections. Zan is continuing this work for the 2022 midterms.
This video follows Zan as they help others get to the polls, and explores the barriers disabled voters face, including new potential obstacles posed by Georgia's latest "election security law."

    Can't they vote by mail?

Absentee ballots are restricted now in GA. Used to if you were older than x age, they automatically send absentee. SB 202 stopped that. So one must officially request a ballot, receive it , print 2 pic I'd copies, use certain color envelope, then wait for ballot..then fil out ballot , drop in drop box ( used to be 24/7 now ONLY when early vote hours)
Mail is slow, and deadlines are tight. This video talked about both. Jessica Mathis talked about absentee ballots

Would love that but sad SB 202 rejected that. Let's figure how we can.make voting better for everyone! I really don't care who you vote for, just vote and let others has easiest acces to vote!
