Vor nun 30 Jahren war ich bei dieser Vorstellung dabei. Ein Erlebnis, das man sein ganzes Leben lang, nicht vergisst. Sehr schade, dass 'die Dessay' nicht mehr singt. Für mich hat sich auch die Callas noch in den Schatten gestellt.

Much as I love Natalie's performances, I'd say Ingeborg Hallstein does a slightly better job on this one. And for pure stratospherics - Erna Sack. Great video, though.
