Oooh and one more thing, he's not there to be a carbon copy of someone else, he took that song and adjusted it to what he could do and that in itself shows talent!

Oh and the lyrics at the start should have been "went the distance and I'm back on my feet" not "street" like he sang it but still cool. The judge asks but it's obvious why he picked the song... he was going to be aggressive and survive the top three... his top rivals. hah He deserved to win it all and he did.
The last extended Eyyyeee he sings is a little bit weak, lacking the range and power of the original recording. Still a very good performance as this would be a hard song to do justice to.
@nikssonn Stan doesn't have a weight problem. Have you seen his recent videos? yes back on idol a year ago he did have an issue with energy they talked about but he addressed that, never weight.
