    There are truly four seasons in the upper Midwest: Almost Winter; Winter; Still Winter; and Road Construction! 😂

    Nice tutorial. Graderman from Alberta Canada, I am dealing with drifts all the time. Shelving is crucial! I learned a little more from your video today. Thanks 👍

    Operator before me stitched wing from joystick to the four yellow rocker switches. Index is front attachment, middle is inside or wing post, ring is the outside of wing, pinky I rear push beam. What are your thoughts on that vs joystick

    • @graderman140m
      @graderman140m  Před rokem

      I don’t see any problems with him moving it to the yellow rocker switches I personally like it on my mini joystick myself but everyone is a little different I’d probably use the little push buttons but I have my front plow and my angle on them and that works good for me thanks for watching.

    Curiosity question I have always had a flat shelf just wondering if you have tried tapering versus flat which is better always looking to improve

    • @graderman140m
      @graderman140m  Před 5 měsíci

      So I taper all my drifts until they get about 5ft high once there 5ft high I leave a flat bench on them seems to work the best for me thanks for the question and thanks for watching!

    On your wing what hole do you have it at to get the best reach? Keep up the great videos

    • @graderman140m
      @graderman140m  Před rokem

      I have it in the second hole I also have a 14ft wing blade on this machine over the 12ft on all my other machines the 14ft wing is really nice for benching with.

    What’s your opinion on taper bank vs benching.

    • @graderman140m
      @graderman140m  Před 5 měsíci

      I prefer taper banking drifts as long as you can once there high enough it’s hard to get a good taper on them I start benching everything. I hope this answers your question thanks for the question and thanks for watching.

    I live in Anchorage Alaksa - we have had record setting snow - an the fleet isn't meeting the demands. I don't really mind - they get them clear eventually - It's not the operaters fault that the administration was unprepared. But I do have a quesiton - everytime the grader comes by my house it leaves a 3 foot section of frozen concrete snow bricks. The edge of the property? Why?

    • @graderman140m
      @graderman140m  Před 7 měsíci +1

      Definitely hard to keep up with record setting snows and as far as when the grader comes by and leaves the snow on the edge of the property is they have to have some where to go with the snow from the road so it goes to the edge of the road and the reason it gets like concrete is once you move snow it takes the oxygen out of it and freeze into a solid chunk of snow and ice thanks for the question and thanks for watching.

      Lol yeah I must have a sensor for the wheel speed not working I called the dealer and he’s like is it working and I said yeah he’s like let’s not worry about it unless it’s not working and that’s good enough for me.
