"Say no more, here's a box of guns." That line never fails to make me laugh.
"It's like being smothered with a hand quilted pillow filled with cherished memories" such a perfect quote, one of the best from the show
Yeah, some day I'm gonna use that quote on someone who hopefully doesn't watch Parks And Rec.
The followup with him realising what he is saying and apologising while looking around is perfect...
Whilst I don't think I'll ever get past Andy shouting "You may be experiencing network connectivity problems!", I must admit that line packed a strangely touching and hilarious punch.
@@NewhamMatt and it was an improvisation by chris pratt!
Every nerd ever has had the 'I don't have time to explain how wrong you are......actually, it's going to bug me if I don't' reaction at some point or another.
Yup
Oh I been there a couple of times
Agreed
Yup. With me its blazblue, i know its eh but i just love it so much
*Sigh* The Eternal Curse of being a Nerd. Correcting others when they get something wrong about your favorite series/franchises.
the "sorry honey, i love you" while looking around, scared like leslie would jump out of a corner (1:45) is a beautiful and underrated moment
Also because his eyes glance up first, like she could come from the ceiling
@@Circa1628 Never doubt Leslie's power
I’m sure she has the office bugged/
Ben being pleasantly surprised that they both have a breakfast day is an underrated moment
Lmao she already had a set of presents for both of them. Did she predict this would happen or is she just ready to drop gifts at any given second?! 😂🎁
It’s probably the present she bought for waffle/breakfast day
I imagine that beneath her desk, there's hardly enough room for her legs because of all of the thoughtful gifts she has stockpiled.
Or probable the second one
It's the second one
Let's be honest, she knew about it way before :D Leslie outsmarted them :D
"You have a breakfast day too ? Mine is in June !" is such a cute line
Conspiracy Theory: Leslie made JJs diner sell the waffle iron to make Ben and Anne try to get it so they could become friends.
Yep... It is possible... :) greetings from Poland :)
Wait, it's Anne?
All these years I thought it was Ann...
But yeah, I mean she was prepared.
@@TheAzynder no ur right it's sadly Ann. No "E".
M
u mean she sold it on ebay. makes even more sense
“First time you delivered her mail, yeah we get it” their synchronized tone of defeated annoyance was just golden
“Looks like we got ourselves an old fashioned pawn shop waffle iron bidding war” seriously this line kills me
"ill let you take anything from this bag" kills me gotta love shady business offers
The fact that he starts the bidding at $650k too 😂😂😂😂
"This is the best breakfast day waffle day joint present I have ever received"💀
@@gaymerjerry ann pimping herself
Just when Ben and Ann thought they out smarted Leslie she whipped out those pre-planned presents 🤣🤣🤣 they were playing checkers while Leslie was making jj's waffles
I wish it didn't cut out at the end there, Ben said "How do you even have these already" Or something to that effect lol.
"I was wondering if you could help me out"
"Say no more, here are a bunch of guns"
XD. Love the angle
That scene has always made me wonder if you could really buy a gun from a pawn-shop....
@@vtr0104 only if they have a FTL or the guns are antique
@John Mateus :))) I would if I had one buddy, but Romania's a long way away and if I ever make it to the Sates in my life-time, it won't be to check out gun models at a pawn-shop, but instead to rent a car and drive from New England to Oregon or California.
From what I gather, the scenery's lovely.
"You just burn it and burry the ashes and pray it doesn't haunt you."
I'm dead :-)
Doesn't haunt YOU. He wanted to be sure the ghost knew who to haunt lmao
Reminds me of how tom mocked her mural idea. “You can’t make art because you are art and that sucks.”
Good, we don’t need that god awful sense of humor on this planet
Such a fantastic deadpan delivery by Adam Scott. He played his role so well in this series
His “it’s gonna bug me if I don’t-“ is literally me
They cut off the best part. When Leslie gives them the presents and Ben says, “How did you already have these?”. He sounds super annoyed and defeated by Leslie’s thoughtfulness. It kills me every time.😂
Love how Ben looks upwards when apologizing to a non-present Leslie, likes she's always watching somehow.
"I'm bidding on it and I am ready to spend amount which my accountant calls dangerous and irresponsible"
I feel like this goes for everyone ahaha
You would think how Leslie is so good at giving the right present to the right person at the right time that she'd be able to make a business out of it called "the perfect present", where she can do research and help solve people's friendship/relationship problems by presenting the best gifts they can receive...
She countered their counter to her counter to their compromise to her holidays by knowing them so well that she already got gifts
2:01 to 2:15 the most relatable tv moment ever.
The writing on this show was off the charts, there's about ten great gags every minute.
Unpopular opinion: it outscores The Office, a show I really love.
Why couldn't there have been an episode where Ben and Donna discuss Game of Thrones? That would've been the best episode ever!
"I have a friendly present for you right now"
pulls out 3 present for each of them.
"Good Lord"😂
“Still wanna go out on a date? Just came into a lot of money... $500 will buy a lot of nitrous “
Hahaha! That’s hilarious
The fact that an entire episode's B-story is dedicated to a joke about how thoughtful and loving someone is surely has Andy Griffith smiling in his grave.
Ann and Ben: we saw it coming
Leslie: pfff!!! Waaaaay ahead of you.
2:12
Ben died a little inside.
I was wondering if you could help me out
Say no more +pulls a box of guns+
This part is just amazing
Yeah
...that would end the problem one way.
Ben's reaction makes it even better
Probably one of the most wholesome conflicts I've ever seen.
Which is why i love parks and rec. It's so positive
Listen...parks and recreation is a great show but out of context and in clip form I'm starting to see how Leslie is psychotic
Yes, very toxic.
@@thegirlatthefrontdesk3519 uhh what
She’s just really overly enthusiastic and doesn’t always express it healthily
@@juliette1081 Have you heard of toxic positivity?
Yeah.. but when you finally see the episode.. it'll ALL make sense.
@@juliette1081 Yeah like that character Joy from Inside Out which Leslie's actress Amy Poehler also played
"I was wondering if you could help me out-", "Say no more, here's a bunch of guns"
America in one quote
You're damn right.
Don't forget the friend that helps you hide the body too
Ben is literally me whenever anyone mentions Game of Thrones.
which show is that?
@@artygunnar yeah right??
Her already having their friendship week presents is just amazing
"talk like a PITTSBURGH pirate day, which..why? and how?" 😂
Nice to see Uncle Jack from Breaking Bad is still prepared with a stockpile of guns and ammo in Pawnee.
"Future Mrs Tiger Woods" 😂
$500 buy alotta nitrous....
He ain’t wrong.
Whippet...whippet real good
@@codyleslie478 crack that whip!
The mail lady should just start giving Leslie parts of an official usps uniform
The best dialogue of the show: Let's start the bidding at 650 000 dollars.🤣🤣🤣
"We went in there figuring she's counter with a month" :D :D
Ann: This is why we don't hang out.
Ben: :(
2:16 is in my top 5 favorite moments from the show.
It's just perfect.
I can't watch it without absolutely losing it.
ugh this show is just perfection itself
Leslies voice crack at 4:05 is gold
She has doraemon under her desk i swear
Lol
@@sabahbubbler magical robot anime cat from the future
Ann Perkins! You perfect sunflower! 😍😍
Beautiful tropical fish
Gorgeous land mermaid
Okay! Fine! I'll watch Parks and Rec
The amount of short clips I've watched this week
“I was wondering if you could help me out”
“Say no more. Here’s a bunch of guns”
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
shes an evil genius with a heart of gold.
I need an awesome friendship like Leslie and anns
I can say that “talk like a Pittsburgh pirate” is just saying yinz, pixburg, and constantly eating chipped ham
Chipped ham??
@@michaeldiana2194 yeah, look it up
I think they purged comments after the netflix removal thing
Being in any kind of relationship, friendship, feud with Leslie Knope sounds exhausting.
Dear NBC. If you want to purge comments just turn comments off?
I was so sad when they did the last episode they should do a season 8..
Favorite episode!!!
Ben is perfection and I love him so much.
I was so sad when they did the last episode they should do a season 8..
Amy Poehler said they might
Bruh, that better be true
@@ronswanson7289 That would be perfect if everybody returns. But I don't think that especially Chris Pratt could be in every episode. He's a A-list star now, so he's pretty expensive.
@@Arnhemunited1 ye that's ttue
True*
I really like how they portray nerd culture. They make fun of it but dont overexagerate and they dont make the nerds "secretely" supercool. its just a very realistic and fun portray.
It bothers me how no one is commenting about how Leslie's mailwoman just randomly showed up to do the same thing
Leslie has gifts always ready. Red Foreman style.
Rashida Jones’ stressed sigh face is perfect.
Leslie probably has gifts for every day
Leslie is a super human
There is a very deserved flashback to explain all of the crazy that is Leslie knope
"How did she already have these ready?" LOL
"500 bucks can buy a lot of nitrous" lmaooo
A mailday present lol
2:17 Bro, I couldn’t stop laughing at this part 😂
“Looks like we got ourselves an old fashioned pawn shop waffle iron bidding war” I looked up this video for that line specifically
“Talk like a Pittsburgh pirate day which why… and how?” 😂😂😂🥰🥰🥰
Leslie’s gift is also her curse. No one will ever defeat her!!! 😂
I bet Ben’s “waffle day” celebrates the flu episode from season three when Ben brought Leslie waffles when she was sick in the hospital. ❤️
No, that is "Waffle in the Hospital day"
I love how Ben and Leslie have both a waffle day and a breakfast day
Believe me I fvckin miss this show so much
One of Leslie Knope’s top love languages is giving gifts. For surez
did all the comments get deleted
I love anytime we get a glimpse into how Leslie's mind works.
i love her i love her i love herrrr aaaaaa
I don't know why this isn't talked about more but ben's camera stares are AMAZING. kinda remind me of jim -- i mean look at 4:57 😂😂
Rashida Jones is such a underrated actress. Her characters in The office and Parks and recs are so different
Rashida gets better every video 😻
I thought, I need a Leslie in my life and then I realised I am the Leslie. To all who know me, I am so sorry.
😹
I feel you
2:17 LOL come on Ben buy a gun
Showing November for "talk like a pirate day".
Ladies and gentlemen, we gottem.
I laughed so hard when the mailwoman appeared.
Donna's voice is iconic
Ben has a breakfast day and a waffle day also 🤣
Tyrion wasn't lord of Casterly Rock, another proof that Donna was just a poser
We could all use a friend like Leslie
Leslie absolutely set them both up.
the ending was like a jojo part 2 episode
What is a jojo, Ben?
Ben looks around for hidden cameras or micropohones when apologizing to Leslie lol
I live these folks. Hoping they have a reunion show where everyone moves back and Lealie is Mayor
How much money could they realistically have to waste it?
Well only Tom
Well E720 is very profitable.
Money is inefficient and should be dissolved
- Ron ███████ Swanson
"How do you already have these"
And here I thought I was sentimental
Leslie is so good at picking the people in her life if both her best friend AND her husband know the best niche gift to give her for the niche holidays she creates 😊
Good I miss this show
i need a friend like leslie
