9:30 , love your videos man! I can’t believe you caught my wife’s face and the jersey she was wearing! Mackay our last name and 78 being my favourite number. I’m next to her in the Hawaiian shirt. Dude that’s awesome. What an epic game too. Glad you got to enjoy it!
Glad you liked the video!
@@RobertGreeley sure did
Oilers VS Coyotes... is that the one where McJezus in OT had a partial breakaway and missed, smacked his stick on the boards, only to get the puck back from Draisaitl and put it in doing virtually the same move? If so, how awesome!! And whatever the price to see Connor live, I'd definitely pay it. He's gotta be worth every penny. With your analysis, I don't blame you for putting EDM above MTL. I'm gonna have to watch that video of you taking your gramps to a Habs game, now... Cheers!
Hopefully you enjoy that video of me and my grandfather, a special weekend for sure! And yup that’s the game it was his 60th goal of the season generational talent!
I remember watching that happen!
@@BROKENLONELY306 nice!!
@@BROKENLONELY306me to. I saw it live!
Nice list and well thought out reasons. Thanks!
Appreciate it! Any videos you’d like to see next?
Finally caught up on the last few weeks of videos! Keep up the fantastic content Robert. It’s great to see the channel over 3k subs now. I think you are about to really take off.
Thanks a lot Connor, really appreciate the kind words!
Glad you choose Oilers as number 1. Best building in NHL!
It’s a fun spot!
@@RobertGreeley it truly is! Love how they built the new arena. When it was about 70% done, I got to tour it
Cheers. Fellow NLer (Habs fan) from Carbonear and moved to SK about 6 years ago.
I had the opportunity to visit several of the western teams and teams in states. I highly recommend going to a Jets game. They're my second team that I follow, so I may be a little biased. I got to see them play the Habs (Andersons 1st hat trick in that game) and the Stars.
Great atmosphere for what is considered a "small market" team. Excellent places for food and some nice historical places to visit as well.
Love it! If you're a Habs fan and Newfoundlander you'll love the video I did on Alex Newhook not too long ago!
Great video! I wonder what you'd rank these five in terms of atmosphere?
Honestly, pretty similar! Maybe rotate around Calgary, Toronto, and depending on who Ottawa plays. So hard to just fixate on atmosphere, for example Calgary, Toronto, and Ottawa lost were as the other teams won so maybe that did factor into my decisions!
Unfortunately, I attended an Oilers game im 09 when it was still Northlands and pre-McDavid. Also unfortunate is you were too young to not have experienced the old Montreal Forum, the cathedral of hockey arenas. Side note: I have visited every NHL arena except Winnipeg and I would rank the Canadian experience as follows:1)Montreal 2) Calgary 3) Vancouver 4) Toronto 5)Edmonton 6)Ottawa for reasons different than yours obviously. And last but not least, 24,000 drunken college students anywhere on this planet cannot be a positive experience, lol. Hope we cross paths at a future game!
Interesting! I mean there's so much that goes into it, so I can definitely see how you came up with your list and one this is consistent Montreal is near the top! Haha Panda weekend is great and like I said for 24k drunk college students to not bombard two of the biggest hockey players in the city pretty impressive (or maybe they were all too drunk to notice lol)! Cheers Joseph, hope to see you at a rink to!
😮😢😢😂
maple leaf square is quite difficult to get into now since they introduced mobile passes - since they are free people will get them just to sell them for outrageous prices and unless you're incredibly fast on the app you're not getting in. that being said i was there for all their wins in the tampa series and it was the best time i've had watching hockey.
Interesting, thanks for this info! Hopefully they find a solution for people trying to resell them!
I can see TO being the first of the og 6 relocating
Really? I genuinely can’t see a world where Toronto relocates!
You know, us Winnipeg fans have a good hatred for arizona due to them stealing our first team
But would you really say it’s that deep? Like Arizona hasn’t really been competitive
@@RobertGreeley I’m just speaking from the jets fan perspective we don’t like the team competitive or not it’s always really nice to beat arizona
Where are the other 2 Canadian teams?
Did you watch the video? Lolol I legit explained it
@@RobertGreeley oh sorry I didn’t see that part, mb
@@demer_35 haha all good! I am trying to get out there!
Go sabres
Great time!
As a flames fan I am embarrassed for you’re experience at the dome. No excuse for that shit.
I appreciate that! Still overall enjoyed my time in Calgary, did you catch the video I did solely in the city?
@@RobertGreeley well if you’re back for the new stadium I’ll buy you a beer.
Except that the Arizona Coyotes is the original Jets franchise. Nothing serious, just losing your team for 15 years to that pathetic excuse of a hockey market.
Do Jets fans still hold that grudge when they play each other though? Definitely think it could factor a bit into the atmosphere
@@RobertGreeley I personally hate how this market, who unlike Arizona, are real hockey fans, gets to watch a massively failed franchise stay in Arizona all these years. Yes, its probably still a big factor for most people over 40 that cheered for the original team.
@@gregd5064 interesting perspective!
Just another Leafs troll. Sweeeet
I mean, I hardly think this is trolling the Leafs, with their ticket prices so high I can’t justify putting them above Ottawa tbh
Wouldn't say he's a troll. I'm a diehard Leafs fan and everything he said is 100% true. I paid more for Leafs tickets that were one row from the back of Scotiabank than I did for seats that were 5 rows from the ice at a Sens game. The atmosphere was dead at the Leafs game and it was against Boston, so a decent rivalry, but there was just nothing which makes sense given the only people that can afford tickets are rich people there for clout and pics rather than because they care for the team or hockey. The 300 seats had good fans but everything lower was abysmal.
Meanwhile, the Sens tickets are actually affordable for families and normal people which means actual fans are able to access them and bring good atmosphere to a game. Genuinely had a much better time at the Sens game and I don't even like the Sens.
I realise there's a big difference between the Leafs and Sens in terms of support, history, team value and such but still, the Leafs home games are just not accessible to the everyday fan and I think he made a fair assessment.
