I've talked about my teeth over on my instagram stories, but wanted to sit down and chat in detail and talk you through / show you the entire process of what I got done and why I got the work done. I know this kind of video isn't for everyone, but getting this done was a big decision for me and I share so much of my life on this channel, it'd be weird not to talk and share it with you.

Your smile and the way you talked (and the amount of your gums that showed) changed several years ago. I didn't think that you looked bad before, I just noticed it. Then I forgot about it. I'm glad this has made you happy. I've been watching you and Zoe for nearly 4 years now, and quite frankly I miss your (more frequent) videos on youtube.

To be honest, your theeth did not look unnatural and I did not realise that you had your theeth done untill I saw the before clips from Dubai. David did a GREAT job!

They look so good! I have one tooth in the front that was pushed back a bit further than the others. When I smiled, at certian angles, it looked as if I was missing a tooth. I eventually got aligners and straightened my teeth to where it no longer looks like it is missing HOWEVER the gum on that tooth is lower than the rest. I found laser gum removal on youtube but it seemed super scary. Thank you for going in depth with your process. I think I will look further into it. It's only one tooth, but when it comes to your smile, it means so much more!
What will the upkeep be like? Are there any restrictions on what you can drink/eat and how long do they last? They look amazing!! I'd love to have some myself one day :)

I had tooth colored braces as a 32 year old women..for 2 years. It was the best decision I made for myself. My smile was my biggest insecurity. It is crazy how much it has improved my everyday life. Glad you have had the same positive outcome.

Once you've had the veneers done, do you just use normal toothpaste or do they require a specialist product like dentures do?

The only thing I hate about myself is my teeth. I wont even get them out to smile. Literally the only reason I work 60 hours a week is so I can grow my business big enough and one day I can afford new teeth.. a girl can dream!

Are the teeth underneath straightened now? Or do the veneers just cover up anything that was a bit crooked? Also is there anything you can’t or shouldn’t eat? Like no more coffee or coke etc. Such an interesting video thanks for sharing!

Thank you Alfie for filming this video. I have the same insecurity and I am actually also scrolling instagram looking on pictures and videos of gum removals for a while and thinking about to do it. As you said, I am also very nervous about "how my teeth will look like after doing so" :D and you encouraged me. Thank you for that. I’m happy for you that you like it! But I think your natural smile looked lovely. I can understand that looking at your own face so often like when you edit videos, it makes you more aware of imprefections. But the imperfections make you you. As I said I’m happy for you but honestly, I found your natural smile so beautiful. I really liked that about your appearance. These teeth look very beautiful. But I genuinely thought your teeth and your gummy smile or whatever looked so good and I feel a tiny bit sad that that’s gone :(. But who am I. You feel better now so that’s what the goal was right?

PS If you wouldn't mind sharing, what was the cost of everything you got done? You don't have to say what you paid with the deal, just what any person would've had to pay without getting the deal that you did. That would be really helpful :)

Is it scary having veneers put on? I went to the dentist and was told that i would have veneers put on, as my problem is that i have a lack of calium in my teeth, so they kind of look see through if that nakes sense, like on the bottom half of my upper teeth. Im really self conscious of my teeth because of this, and i just always thought that veneers were fe like older people, so i put it off.. but my question.. is it frightening the thought of having veneers at such a young age? And how do veneers actually work?
I have to go through the same thing in a few weeks. I have braces and the dentist didn't warn me until my gums were about to grow over my braces. And watching you makes me feel better

Good for you Alfie! I grew up around the dentist bc my uncle is one and my mom is a hygienist. Now my cousin is a dental hygienist, her husband is a dentist, and my other cousin's husband is a hygienist haha! So I never understood or had the fear of having work done. Your smile is beautiful! ... my mom popped in as I was watching this and was happy to hear dental talk haha! She said to make sure he knows that he should always eat small pieces of food so there's less chance of the veneers breaking.

Loved this video, Alfie. Thank you so much for making this. I am so glad to see you are so much happier with how it turned out. It's so true what you say though... people always have those few things that they always notice about themselves which they don't like and may feel insecure about, but they are things that just the general passerby or work colleague would never notice. I have always wanted to have something similar to this done but honestly thought the way they use veneers was by shaving down your old teeth... Thank god it's changed haha!! It's nice to actually hear a real experience from someone I trust to give an honest response. I know that this might not be something you'd be willing to talk about but I would be interested to hear how much something like this might cost? or if Dr David could recommend someone in London to do similar work?

I've always had a gummy smile and tiny teeth (as well as a mutation that resulted in me being born with no wisdom teeth at all - woo genetics) too and had my gums lasered as well. Just felt a minor pinch during the numbing injections and no pain during the surgery and nearly no discomfort with healing. I think that the mouth tissue heals quicker because theres more moisture. My dentist gave me vitamin e capsules to puncture and apply the contents (sort of like oil) to my gums to help with healing. It's amazing what a couple of millimeters less gum does for a person's smile. I hadn't even known it was a thing till my dentist had suggested it. Very glad I did 😁 P.S. your teeth look spectacular! Did you get top and bottom done or just top (veneers)?
