I am a widow my husband died 17 years ago when my youngest was only 10 we had been married for 25 years. For me the way this young woman sings this song represents the the sorrow of loss yet the joy of my children, the sorrow that I feel that he and they were never able share in the joys of their successes and the Joy I feel when they do well, the sorrow that he will never know their children and my joy at the fact that my eldest daughter is expecting her first child (a daughter). For me this young woman has just sung, not a child’s song, it is an adults anthem of hope for the future. ❤️
Like Simon, I've always hated this song until I heard Jimmie Herrod's version on AGT. But this version touched my heart & I can't stop playing it. Incredible! Yes, it's a 10 out of 10! And I love what Bruno perfectly said. ❤
The West End is London's Broadway. I saw this on BGT, and I can't tell you how many talent show auditions I've seen (too many to count), but this is one of my all time favorites. Sydnie is one of the most likable, affable, incredibly funny, contestants I have ever seen, and her rendition of "Tomorrow" is easily the best I have ever heard. Some producer at the West End has to hear this and grab her now. She should be the next lead in "Waitress", and I hope she sings "She Used to Be Me" somewhere in this show. Sydnie checks All the boxes. Absolutely love this woman, and it would be wonderful if she won. Moments like this one is why I watch these shows. "Music's Magic"! Love that!
West End is the equivalent of Broadway here in the States. I absolutely was floored by this audition when I first heard her. Amazing talent. You should also react to the choir Navi, breathtaking and so beautiful.
Sydnie was a knockout on BGT. I fully expect she will soon get her "break" into the West End. Her voice is spectacular and she is a fantastic performer!
I played this version for my family knowing they don't like this song and I, no Sydnie, converted them all. We have never shared a consensus on a single song before, someone is always indifferent, but this version won them all over.
What I love about Sydnie is that despite of her natural confidence she's so humble to the core. Her reaction to the crowd's response showed she's unaware of how good she is. Just love her. I also love your reaction. Very much like mine the first time I watched. I teared up.
Watched this performance as it aired. Stunning performance. Truly special. And I hope Sydnie wins BGT. I’m so pleased I discovered your channel and your reaction. And wow, what a beautiful man you with lots of depth and heart. New subscriber here.
Wow, she's great 🤯 How in the world are all those people so confident in front of the judges and millions of people in front of TV screens?!?! What is the recipe for being this confident?? I really need that recipe A LOT! Loved the reaction of course 😊 P.s Chris... hope you're not mad at me for those questions I asked earlier... I'm sorry if it was too much 😕
Larry! I am so glad I stumbled upon your post!!! I loved seeing your reaction! it mirrors mine! I kept saying..just wait..watch it watch it! lol....your comments are exactly my own! now you see why I watch this thing multiple times a day! never gets old! Cant wait to see where she goes from here!
Honestly, I am not surprised by your reaction. I am huge Barbra Streisand fan even if she is completely not my generation (but does generation matter when someone is just such an artist?), I've watched vast majority of the movies/musicals where she was starring. And I can feel/hear some Barbra Streisand vibes in Sindy's voice/interpretation... I did not expect that. Wow!
So interesting that they played Over The Rainbow, sung by Loren Allred, who also got a Golden Buzzer from Amanda on BGT 2022. But this girl is pretty much a complete unknown, whereas Loren was known as the voice behind Never Enough to some people. And like Sydnie, Loren also got a lot of flack for being a “professional”. I don’t consider singing on cruise ships and performing as a cast member in a play as “well known”. Bet no one who saw her sing before remembers her name from those earlier performances. Our girl, Lucy Thomas, is starring in Rosie that is on the West End, at the end of the year. That’s probably where you heard it before.
The West End is the British equivalent of Broadway. That's where Les Miserables started. It's in London on the west side of the Thames River, hence "West End."
Aww I loved your reaction! One of the best I've seen so far! She really moved us all! I'm so happy for her too and hoping she goes far and have lots of success in everyway, just as she's brilliant in everyway 💗✨!

This is the 40th time listening to Sydnie. Goosebumps teary eyes … every time. I thought Putri Ariani was a sure winner on AGT and look how that turned out … lost to a dog act? BGT like AGT will probably let us down. Sydnie just needs exposure and not tied up with BGT rules and laws. Go Sydnie … let’s have it!👍❤️
I'm a musician and the most touching area of this audition is Sydnie saying at the end in the foyer that she Felt Hurt. I understand what she said. I've have vastly smaller audiences but you can feel with certain songs the peoples hurt or joy or what ever. I'm sure with an audience of this size she felt their feelings very well. So her saying she Felt Hurt made sense. She really did strike a chord with this audience.
The birth of a star witnessed here. Personality and vocal talent are wonderful Christmas present indeed. In case you didn't pick up on the background song that was another star we watched on BGT Loren Allred.
Shirley Temple did not play Annie in the 1930 . It was a radio show based on the comic strip Little Orphan Annie, Shirley Temple was only 2 years old then.
What a great reaction cover. Sir, I've never seen your content before but I LOVED you, watching this. The range of motion and expression in your eyes, face, and mouth showed every emotion you were feeling - with none barred. This song is obviously very special to you, but this stunning rendition touched your soul. She made me love this song, too, but for the very first time. I've subscribed and reviewed your content. I do so hope you will broaden your range of reviews to include more varied content, such as this, as you were a pure joy to watch. Thank you!
@@larryshair You're very welcome! The pleasure is all mine! If I may be so bold, I'd like to suggest reviewing Loren Allred on 'Britain's Got Talent', if you haven't seen that audition yet. You'll find it under the 'Britain's got Talent' CZcams channel, the 8:19 minute version. If you're able, try to watch the movie, "The Greatest Showman", before hand. (starring Hugh Jackman - 2017) It'll add clarity and impact to her performance.
You did the best reaction bar one Spanish singing coach who went into the intrecrecies of her voice. Sydnie's interpretation still emotionally gets me as it did you😊

It takes an extra shot of courage to pick a song that you know Simon “hates” and I love that these folks had it! This is Jimmies version- czcams.com/video/0sgk1sNUJR8/video.htmlsi=kSxPoz2HgqaiT01n.
