Hi Steve and Wendy and little Pippin, so pleased you have reached Sweden, nice campsite, loved the natural shower, nice facilities. Glad to hear Pippin is recovering nicely, so sweet. Safe journey x Julie and Tony x
Thanks. Yes that site was a lucky find on Search for Sites although there are lots of similar sites around 👍😀😎
Great Video, looking forward to seeing more of Sweden. Pippin looks so much brighter, bless her. Have a great time. 😊❤🐕 xx
Thank you Susan, will do!
Currently knee deep in helping our Son put in new decking in his back garden.
oh my aching back!!! LOL
I am lucky enough to have visited Sweden, if only briefly. It is a lovely place, and I look forward to following your time there. The site you found was certainly lovely. Take care!
Most of the country is like this isn't it? Culturally it's different to the UK too. Not so much of the "Not Allowed" going on...
Have a lovely time with your family x x❤️
Will do Alison. Thank you ❤️
Pippin looks very healthy and alert, she's a little cutie!
Plenty of rain here in the UK too! Safe travels ❤
Thanks Carole
Yes Pippin is so much better with the eye drops.

You both look well & Pippin too ,have a safe journey 😊🐕🦺
Thanks Ann

Thanks Martin. Sweden is really very nice indeed...
Sweden is a long and narrow country and the north is very different environment.
Yes it is. We’ve not ventured far north yet but maybe one day 😀👍😎
❤❤❤
Thanks Stella :)
Its on the news here in the UK that Sweden have now banned/stopped taking cash as payment - can you confirm if this is true or not guys ? great vid yet again ;)
The idea of paying for things "electronically" is already pervasive. Last year we went to a car boot sale with our family. They bought some stuff and paid using their "swish" payment system on the mobile phone. It just seemed "ordinary" to them.
My personal experience is that cash is accepted in many places but electronic payment is preferred almost every where.
The Swedish Culture is very practical and their Government is not quite the same as that in the UK. For example, there was no lockdown during 2020 - 2023. When I questioned that with local Swedish people, they confirmed that it would be impossible to implement lockdown in Sweden. Something to do with the constitution and that they have a constant coalition government through proportional representation.
Maybe PR in the UK would be a good thing?
Cash is not banned. But in many places you need card or swish. In grossery shops they take Cash. Like ICA, Coop, Lidl and more.
It is not banned nor it is likely to be. But the use is in decline. Grocery stores and all big or midsize shop take all three forms (cash, card and swish). smaller shops often just take two of them (if your lucky cash is one) and really small or non-profit often just take one of them (and that is mostly not cash).
@cynic7049 it just goes to prove how the MSM in the UK lie, it was on one of the internet news outlets "Sweden Bans Cash"
Most shops doesn't take Cash in Sweden. Many banks doesn't take cash either.
