I have a bootleg one but it's much closer to the original than the one you had. The print on the inside and the logo are exactly like the real one. Thr curved bottom and the zipper are the only way you can tell it's bootleg so I'm still really happy with it.

Now they have bigger ones that look exactly alike except it has a round bottom instead of flat. Which is cool because even if I did have enough money i wouldn't use the expensive purse.... i cannot ruin such an expensive item...

Glad you made this video. I went to my first huge con this year, DragonCon and while I did find legit Sailor Moon merch, i also found fake merch. I dont mind paying for fake merch as long as it isnt real merch prices and looks cute. Sadly, I didn't see that at the con.

Yup, I made them using corkboard purchased on amazon and frames I bought from michaels and kohls

At this point in my life cannot afford licensed product so I did owned the first bootleg bag 😂, sadly straps broke on me and after fixing it once they broke again... so sadly i had to stop using it😢. But I do agree on supporting licensed items, including artworks from other people(I tend to buy a lot of original works 😀💪). Thank you again for such descriptive video.

Here I thought I was getting the primo version when I got the knock-off with the metal crescent moon. Mine's actually a pretty good knock-off, and I've loved it to death, and because I have paint on everything I own, this purse is no exception. A $200+ bag is wasted on me, tbh.

@@SailorSnubs But I meant to express the sentiment that knock-offs are awful. Creators deserve to get paid their asking price. A lot of us benefitted from such a cute design, and a good luxurious bag is worth it! Especially if you can take good care of it.

I just purchased a Samantha Vega Wallet on Ebay but it was $16.99. Ergo it's most likely a fake. I feel like I conned myself, but I'll know what kind of quality I'm working with when it gets here...

I just bought this exact purse but I can't tell if if I have a very good bootleg or if its actually legit.. (I paid $35) LOL the only thing I saw that the purse I have has that small hole in the strap shown at 5:53 but everything else was good 🤣
