Some of this footage is from Northern Ireland, some from Italy, and once from Indianapolis. But the majority is from the Isle of Man TT (Tourist Trophy), which is a time trial.
The Isle of Man, in the middle of the Irish Sea, is semi-independent. It is strictly not part of the UK, the link being that our King Charles III is also Lord of Mann. The UK looks after its defence and foreign policy, but otherwise the Isle of Man runs itself, with its own ancient Parliament, Tynwald. This is why UK road safety regulations don't apply!
The island even has its own language, Manx Gaelic. This officially became extinct as a mother tongue in 1974, but it's being revived.
And the local breed of cats have no tails...
I advise everyone to go to the Isle of Man TT once in their life , cheap flight to uk go stay on the island for a couple of days good food great beer and friendly people , and racing like you will never see anywhere else in the world

They also have different classes of bikes racing including sidecars.
This is a race about just doing the TT and not about the money. Some racers don't even get paid to race this. It's something they want to do and just see how well they do.

A lot of the footage where they are bunched up is Irish Road Racing ☘️The Isle of Man is in the Irish Sea . They make very little money the Senior Race at the Isle of Man the big race pays about $25k . They all have regular jobs. Plumbers brick layers etc. This year Peter Hickman did an average speed around the 37 mile course of 136 + MPH THATS 6 laps . You should watch Peter Hickmans chin camera lap , it only a demo lap but you will get to see what the riders have to deal with. He’s about 3 to 4 minutes off his race pace .The racing on the circuits is Moto GP . Those lads are on big bucks . The American Moto GP is now held in Austin Texas . It’s on in about two weeks time .☘️🏍️😎

@@Acloud1 check out Peter Hickmans on board camera lap. You will see the whole course from the riders perspective. It's scary. Course is 37.75 miles. Lap record 16.36.115!! There is an onboard view of his record lap available to view.
You know how it's called isle of man tt, it's on the isle of man off the coast of Ireland
Its in Ireland and it is a 36 at least miles per lap. Max is about 200mph and average is from 130-150mph
Bro it the Isle of Man, UK sort of, its between the UK and Ireland.
You should watch the sidecar racing, group B really, which they banned cos it was so dangerous.
Also the TT is a time attack, so they all dont start at the same time, theres like a 30 second gap between each rider starting. Plus its a road course, so the shut the roads for it. Most the riders aren't full time racers they have day jobs, like car mechanics, plumbers etc.
Would also recommend the Isle of Men video, as well as Isle of Man TT Greatest Show On Earth.

the record for best average speed on the isle of man is 136 mph. thats average. these guys have balls of steel. if you have time to spare try TT closer to the edge. great film and its available on youtube. that will give you more of an insight into this amazing race. and moto gp is back in the states in april at cota

Those bikes do 200 mph they don't get paid a lot it's more for bragging rights.
They don’t actually make a ton of money from this, and it takes years for them to memorize the course before they actually attempt it. The average lap speed is over 130mph, that’s the average…
Check out some Irish Road Racing... the Ulster GP is faster and imo more exciting
Its the oldest continuous motor race in the world and the one thats claimed the most lives. People die sadly , both racers and spectators. saying that its definitely one of the most pure races in my mind. The prize money is pretty low and the competitors race for the love of the sport which is again sadly uncommon in the age of professional sportspeople. There something to be said about being passionate about your sport , rather than doing it for the money.i hit the sib button mate, hope your channel goes well😊
