    I agree with Perna. I think it's gonna be a game or two difference and will probably be a case where it all depends on if either of them have a dip near the end of the season. I'm currently thinking Lions-Packers-Bears- Vikings, but Bears are really a question mark until we actually see Caleb Williams. I don't think he's gonna live up to the hype at all, but he could pump the bears up to 3rd and not sitting in 4th still.

      Packer fan here and I've worried about a regressive second season from Love. A breakdown video that Kurt Benkert recently dropped has made me feel much more confident in Love. He reads defenses well and can make off-script plays when he needs to. He was stellar on third downs in the red zone last season. I might even place an MVP bet on Love at +1500

    I have said it once and I'll say it again, The NFC North is going to be the most competitive division and the most fun to watch

  • @Will-fk2dk
    @Will-fk2dk Před 19 dny +2

    NFC North (Most likely):
    1) Lion (12 - 5)
    2) Packers (10 - 7)
    3) Bears (9 - 8)
    4) Vikings (7 - 10)
    NFC North (My prediction)
    1) Lions (14 - 3)
    2) Packers (9 - 8)
    3) Bears (9 - 8)
    4) Vikings (6 - 11)
    In the first set of NFC North season records, the Lions obviously win the Division and make the Playoffs. For the 2nd season in a row, that Packers sneak in to the Playoffs.
    The Bears show some promise for the future, while the Vikings will head into the Off Season with some questions that need to be answered.
    In the second set of NFC North season records, which are basically my predictions, the Lions absolutely dominate the Division, running away with it and not having to play their Starters for the final 2 games (if that what they choose to do). They are so dominant (in my predictions) that none of the other teams are close. They could even sweep the Division. I just do not see the Packers as being as good as everyone is thinking. They weren't this "amazing" team last year. They were, in fact, very average.
    The Packers will fade back a bit this year. They are going to lose more than a few games that people would think they should win.
    The Bears will be the most improved team, pmaying well in many games, but just not quite at the level of the Lions just yet. They could surprise a few teams this season, winning against some Playoff Teams, but they will also lose to some lesser teams as well.
    The Vikings, in my opinion, are going to struggle. I just do not see them being a very good team.
    Anyway, in my predictions, only 1 team from the NFC North makes the Playoffs (Lions). Neither the Bears nor Packers will sneak in this time around.
    I also have the Lions playing in a rematch with the 49ers in the NFC Championship Game...
    I will wait until the Playoffs to actually make a prediciton for those games. I think this will be the last season for the Lions as the Dominant Team in NFC North. The other 3 Teams will be much improved by 2025, and the North will become a bloodbath for all 4 teams.
    I could see this being one of the best Divisions in the entire NFL for the next 5 or 6 seasons!

    • @jackpabich763
      @jackpabich763 Před 17 dny

      I don't see the Lions being as dominant in your 2nd prediction largely because of how strong their schedule is. NFC North is going to be tough as well. It should be an exciting year for all of the teams though (except maybe Vikings)

  • @GaudyG2K
    @GaudyG2K Před 20 dny +2

    Packers feel like the definition of a 'boom or bust' team in terms of what the team as a whole will do this season.
    - Who was the real Love, first half or second half?
    - Will the receivers continue to perform as a full cabal of No. 2's, or will they step back to initial expectations?
    - How does the new, non-Barry defense perform? Hafley is the biggest unknown going into the season in GB.
    - Does Van Ness take a step to make a dominant pair of edge rushers on GB's DL alongside Gary?
    - Does Jaire bounce back after an injured (and when not injured, mediocre) season?
    I'd say these five questions are the ones that will determine whether GB fully returns to contention, or regresses.

      Sure, and let’s just say you’re correct. Then why are all the GB fans bashing the Bears and that they’ll finish for sure 3rd? The Bears offensive weapons on paper are better as well as their defense is better. Throw in a last place schedule where they play the Patriots while GB plays Miami for instance, and you’ll see it’s not crazy.

    I think we're about to see one of the most disappointing Packers seasons of this generation. The hype is unreal without proving anything and they have never done well with hype. I'll be shocked if the packers go over .500 against the NFC north.

      @@the6thpackbrewbuckUmmm yeah, I really wouldn't be trying to milk that victory like that tbh.. 😆 the Lions were injured riddle of that offensive line which is the only reason the Packers won that game.. yes I know the Packers were missing players that game but the lions were then at the office of line, but when they're fully healthy they're a top three offensive line in the league easily!.. just for a couple weeks later for them to face Chicago and get dismantled buy them for the same reason.. did Chicago win athletes took the steam out of the Packers win.. because if you want to play that game you would then say then Chicago should be a playoff team right?.. I would be mad at the Lions for letting the Bears beat them the way they did.. sometimes things just get fortunate.. the only thing that when did was it woke Lions fans up to the Packers.. play the Lions know better and know their team too well to know that the Packers are better than them in the NFL rankings overall..

      @@thewizardofoz511 Bro let's just wait for the season to play out before we proclaim the Lions as kings of the North, if you remember, Jared Goff had a very similar situation in LA, where he went from really bad in 2016 to quite good in 2017 to deep playoff run in 2018, and then fell off in 2019, with Detroit really bad in 2021, quite good in 2022, and deep playoff run in 2023, I know they're talented but so were those Rams teams, I'm just not sold on Goff

      @@the6thpackbrewbuck I'm not waiting on anything! 😂 YOOOOUU CAN!.. so you're comparing a 2016 rookie Jared Goff who was still learning the game in the city of Los Angeles where there's a lot of glitz and glamour in media hype.. he went to the Superbowl in 2018.. how are you going to put that much unfair pressure on someone that still learning and growing??.. and here we have with sports where we give other players in sports years of development before we see the full potential of who they really are.. anybody that knows anything about sports know it takes a quarterback 5-7 years to really come into his own depending on the quarterback.. Goff is at his prime state right now.. you're comparing the kid version vs MAN... PERRIODTT.. this guy has learned from his mistakes and he's beyond that.. it's just simple logistics and analytics.. I know what I know and I'm confident in what I know because I studied the game.. and I am crowning the Lions as Kingssss of the North because I know the team we have..
