I've been thinking about audio cues vs. visual cues and tend to think that visual cues are more game-like, as a player is never really reacting in-game based on the auditory system. What are your thoughts on this?

They don’t react based on visual cues from a point or someone’s hand either so they essentially are very similar only difference is you can help train the eyes to look in a certain direction

Not in any rude way or anything but I always see nba players just doing game like shots like 1 dribble pull-ups even Steph he just works on game shots at game speed or fast

A: most of what players do you don’t get to see because it isn’t being filmed
B: of course they work on game speed shots but also curry does it very different than most players (highly variable)
C: they are also at the pinnacle, what they did to get there is usually different than what they do when they are already in the league maintaining

@@tjltrainingso exactly how should my training look like like what type of drills bc my drills aren’t just spot shooting but like moving then shooting or I add some pressure like make 4/6 too move on

You can tell this trainer is a try hard. He thinks every drill has to be a challenging drill not realizing the best players work on the basic fundamentals and the skills aspect of the game
