From a retro player perspective, stuff I would have liked to see in this set: Thunder King Rai-Oh, Maxx C, Trap Dustshoot, Magical Android, Phoenixian Cluster Amaryllis

Keep in mind that coral dragon, a card that has literally NO PLAY anywhere….. got a spot over trident (which has edison and now with tenpai)…….

Rarity Collection 2 follows no real theme other than "fu*k it"
A lot of stuff here was only printed to go with recent products or upcoming products. For example, The Blue-Eyes cards were likely printed because they just revealed that they're making a new Blue-Eyes structure deck. The Lightsworn cards were printed to go with the new support from Legacy of Destruction, plus the future re-release of the Realm of Light Structure Deck, and the future re-release of the Light of Destruction set. I didn't mind Exosisters Magnifica too much since it didn't get reprinted in its mega-tin. Sol and Luna was a VERY odd reprint, unless somehow it will be connected to some future product.
Basically, if we got chaos angel and kashtira fenrir, that would be enough for me, even though I'm still buying singles.

I think that printing cards in Rarity Collection because they are getting tangential products soon isn't it, personally
They could use side sets for that that aren't "collector" in nature

Konami reprinting Starlights as QCRs has always pissed me off lmao. At least they only gave the alt art of I:P and Apollousa QCRs this time instead of double dipping. I am ok with this set in terms of card list still, but it's not worth the inflated price of the boxes. This set could have had things like Kurikara, Kashtira stuff, Trident, Dis Pater and other Bystials, and alt art Ash Blossom. I am going to get singles for this set.
Yea the reprinted QCRs really shaft collectors. I haven't heard a good justification yet.
Price increase I wouldn't mind if the cards included were a little better 😅

definitely less wasted space than RC01. RC01 just had a higher ceiling.
I think they should have put triple tactics thrush in this set. I also feel like the unchained cards were Abit later imo.
Thrust and Chaos Angel would've made this set better for sure!
