  • A tale of two cities, rich Cape Town vs. the poor urban core. I get CONFRONTED in Cape Town CBD, AGAIN!! So I head to Camps Bay to see how the rich live.
Save yourself time and money by learning from my experiences as a Black American on the Continent and beyond. It's NOT what you think.

What's the area of focus? This country's inequality is well documented in past and present legislation , it was well crafted hence harder to correct.
Cape Town is unfortunately, the least transformed on the equality score and it being a major city, experiences all the issues that all major cities in the world tend to experience.

Read these laws to understand the mess:
      1. Group Areas Act of 1950
      2. Native Land Act of 1913
      3. Bantu Education Act of 1953
There's also the Act that dealt with succession and daughters and widows could not inherit from their deceased fathers & husbands.

Definitely has California vibes. Is the homeless situation worse there than in the states? Also, how safe did you feel there. Watching your Namibia videos, I gather it was way safer than South Africa.
    Enjoying your videos.

That's an accurate assessment. Namibia has a very small population, so even in the few urban centers there is a small town feel.
I haven't been to San Francisco recently but I'd imagine you see more homeless on the streets there than Cape Town, where they are more hidden away. (Still visible in pockets though).

JayFocussed, I know Namibia well, the people who will steal and rob you are the ones you least expect - the shop employees, neighbours, bank tellers, cashiers, acquiantances, domestic workers, people you know and even security guards who work with robbers. They will be calling each other, watching your moves and coordinating. The robbers are usually well dressed and groomed, carrying a cellphone and often driving a Golf, Toyota or some other sedan. You have not lived in Namibia long enough to see this. The president of South Africa Cyril Ramaphosa had his house robbed by Namibian immigrant domestic workers he employed on the premises.

Japa boy do you know what is dictatorship n 1st if it was under dictatorship not even tourists will come to this country not forgetting to mention your brothers n sisters from Nigeria, just ask yourself why south africa is top tourist destination n why top artists around world prefer to perform in south africa not nigeria,if you didn't know michael Jackson,Peter Gabriel,Elton john, quincy Jones n many more have performed in south africa even joe Thomas is in cape Town as we speak but they'll never come to nigeria, check what happened to harry jaggard(youtube)harassed in 🇳🇬 n overcrowded everyone asking money for his, stop your negative mind n develop nigeria because being negative about south africa 🇿🇦,it'll not help you or your country, your leaders are looting for the future of their families n nigerian citizens are doing nothing about, the only thing they know is to runaway to other countries n to be problematic by doing illegal activities that is why most countries are banning 🇳🇬 n refusing entry because of your behavior n nigeria is going backwards and other countries are going forward e.g look at kenya, tanzania, uganda n even mali n burka faso are going to overtake you in 10years to come, all nigerians knows is we are number in africa with gdp n we are the giant of africa, people in nigeria they want food not gdp, wake up before it's to late, high inflation is reality in nigeria 😢,people are suffering even Ukraine is at war but they did donate for to 🇳🇬

Why do you seem so scared to film, all your vids have been short snippets, you haven't filmed a proper vid since you got here, it's perfectly fine to film, just that in certain places you need a permit if you'll be filming with a professional camera, just ask for permission whenever you wanna film and tell them what your intentions are beforehand and respect peoples privacy,do that you'll able to freely film in most places.

@@JayFocused It's just that your vids so far have been compilations of 10sec or 30sec clips and you always film in the same places and show very little of those places,it's like you film short vids quickly for the sake of filming and turn the camera off so you don't get seen or something,I don't know I just expected more depth in these vids,Cape Town and South Africa in general have so much to offer and these short vids aren't doing it justice,go out there and explore, there are at least 10 other places like Camps Bay in Cape Town, and many more beautiful places in and around the city.

You want to see more street footage? I edited a lot of it because it was boring, and most people don't have long attention spans these days. Also, the quality of some of the video wasn't good. (Shot with a different phone).
