    You are too hard on Firpo. Yes he can't tackle, defend, pass, head, cross, shoot, read the game or attack and gets injured if he runs but he does have the best smile in the team and that coloring book by the bench none of the crayons had gone over the lines.

      If you swap Gnonto for Summerville and then Rutter for Summerville, I'm intrigued. I think Gnonto's weakness is playing on the "wrong" wing because he has to cut inside and he's not a good passer. Beating a player, getting to the byline and crossing might be the making of him. Rutter is just miles better than Summerville and that'll be proven over the season.

    That foul that wasn't given by bannan was ridiculous, two footed from behind, last player not other defender behind him and didn't touch the ball. The ref bottled it, he didn't want to have to give a red card so didn't call a foul.

    Farke will get the best from Firpo in system that suits his style. What Leeds need is the toxic fans and negative bollox constantly moaning about players that's effecting the team. @ardentspy Před 9 měsíci +2

      @@andywrong3247 Ayling was fine and Piroe just had a bad game. If he'd played well, we'd all be hailing Farke as a genius. Our problems were that Archie Gray looked nailed to our half and never stepped up between the lines. Farke's system depends on one of the pivots being an up and down type of player, not both being defensive. And that we didn't provide enough width. Summerville was far too narrow and looked more sizzle than steak. We needed both wingers to be picking the ball up wide to stretch the defence. In that kind of game we probably need both wingers to be playing on their "right" side so that they can get to the byline and not have to cut back inside, which slows down the attack and makes them predictable.

    Remember when Marsch and the 3 Americans were the problem??? I strongly suspect Leeds who have stayed up by the skin of their teeth if they had kept Jessie. And they’d easily be doing better than 15th in the Championship after 5… fans were delusional about where this team should be

    • @ardentspy
      @ardentspy Před 9 měsíci

      Marsch would have taken us down. He was five minutes from doing that the season before and he didn't improve us. Nearly all the players he favoured were garbage and have been shunted on, including the Americans, two of whom were so bad we would have paid the club not to play them.

      @@jarlathmurphy5419 bruh, Marsch JOINED when Leeds was on the brink of relegation… at worst he treaded water. There’s no “Marsch debacle” that set Leeds back. It was obvious the locker room culture and team was improving, even if some bad luck and bad individual defensive play left the results flat from where he picked up…. Now you guys are 3 coaches in and 15th in the championship and I’m loving it

    • @DrZachyB
      @DrZachyB Před 9 měsíci

      @@ardentspy There’s no objective way of looking at Leeds, and what Marsch inherited, and concluding their expectation should be any better than bottom 6 or so of the EPL. They were in 15th or 16th when they fired Marsch. 15th in the championship today is a big drop without Jessie

    • @ardentspy
      @ardentspy Před 9 měsíci

      @@DrZachyB No, I'm sorry, we weren't in the relegation spots when he took over and we ended the season FIVE MINUTES from going down. The team was "improving"? You must get good crack in America, mate. He made us into the worst team in the division. As soon as teams figured out that we weren't bothering with defending and all they had to do was break the press quickly, we started to lose consistently. You're right that he created a terrible dressing room culture and could not coach to save his life so defenders were left exposed and made mistakes. Luckily they play more than five games in the Championship and since we now have a better squad than Marsch left us, we'll be fine.
