the way the 'i love you' song cover was released in 2015, just 2 years into their career while jin being one of the bts member with the least singing experience, singing so heavenly and powerfully like this... so full of emotions ... can't relate
I don't know if I'm just speaking for myself here, but have you heard it's difficult for an ARMY to have a favorite BTS song? Every song by every member is precious, but more often than not, you see people sharing their connection with the lyrics of one particular song... that’s it, epiphany is that song for me. Like a big warm hug, the voice of Jin singing 🎶Even if I'm not perfect, I'm still so beautiful🎶 has accompanied me many dark nights and I hope it does the same for everyone who listens 💜

Music was and is a BIG part of my life. So these 2 songs made me feel understood. The "fallout" phase from music. So these 3 songs healed me as person and a musician.
The song 'Yours' IS a Jin song. It is part of the soundtrack for the drama Jirisan.
That song makes me very emotional every time I hear it. His voice just pierces through my heart .
Theres a reason he's called 'Silver Voice Jin'. His tone is so malleable and infused with an emotional sensitive almost fragile core in every song he sings! Which is why his ballads hit that much more stronger.

Seeing 50,000 or 90,000 people all singing “I’m the one I should love…. So I love me” it’s a special BTS and Jin kind of magic.

Oh! Since it's Jin's week, you could possibly watch Jin's Traditional Alcohol Journey. It's a four part series with him and one of his friends, celebrity chef Baek Jong-won, who shows up on a few Run BTS episodes. Each episode is only about half an hour.
jin is confident but also kinda weirdly modest? like he worked so hard on his voice and dance and he's the goat but he never gets all in your face about just how much he's worked, he maintains a very easy going image

Epiphany is my life anthem. I listen to it when I’m feeling down. I listen to it when I feel okay. I listen to it when I feel happy. I found Epiphany when I was especially not doing well due to depression. From that moment on, it is a song that has given me utmost comfort at all times. Jin is my comfort person. 💜

Jin and his songs always gets me. That voice has some magical properties. It's just pulls out all the emotion in you.

Jin got something very special about him that is hard to explain, but powerful as hell.
Btw, that wasn’t the full version of Epiphany, just a shortened version ripped straight off the MV(Jaeguchi is a channel you’re better off avoiding). I recommend checking out the live stage mix by Brilliant for the true Epiphany experience!

Yours is an original song for Jin. It was for a kdrama called Jirisan.
Jin really has been an amazing role model to me. I had learn so much from him, I have more confidence now, I also take things with more ease, and I learn to love myself so much more. Before knowing bts I didn't really think about it, we don't talk about those things in our daily basis. School don't teach you to love yourself, my family also didn't talk about it. I think that is a topic that people had forgotten in recent years. Specially with social media and the pressure to be always beautiful or have a succesful carrer or go to collegue, we have so much to be worry about, like make money, that the self-care has dissapear. With bts I really look into myself and thought about so many things, they really had change my life and make me a better person and a better version of myself
I am 33, became ARMY less than 2 yrs back. Jin has taught me so much n made me look at life in a much simpler way. He is really my role model ❤

Jin’s voice literally heals my soul. Nobody else can emote and sing like Jin. It might sound crazy but when he sings some notes my body just absorbs it. The vibration just hits the right nerve literally tenderly and soothes me 💜. I can’t wait for Jin’s full-fledged solo album. I hope he has the right producers to shape and shine him the best way possible. I feel like some producers at BigHit still haven’t used him and pushed him to his full potential yet. I hope he meets the right people for his album.

Hiiii 😊 My gosh got me tearing up already with the first song and in my feelings. To think this man walked into Big Hit not knowing he could sing to this extent, no formal training in dancing or singing. Jin is the definition of God Given TALENT!
For autumn outside the post office it might be that song that you hear during Christmas time called Christmas Canon, it has that similar downward chord progression for the first bit of the chorus (at least that's what I thought the first time I heard it)

Epiphany is really THAT song. I bawled my eyes out the first time I heard it - without even reading the lyrics. The second he sang "I'm the one I should love" I absolutely broke down. 2 weeks later that phrase was tattooed on me. It's since been joined by an RJ just below the lyrics (his BT21 character). It's a constant reminder that I'm enough, exactly as I am.

Jin's songs are tear-jerking. I love them!!! His interview was hilarious--I loved it and how he kept his dignity. This tells us a lot about his character--he's still able to have fun and stay respectful. 💜💜💜

JIN plays the piano, it was probably him. I don't know that for sure, but it might have been. No one sings I love you like JIN, with such emotion, depth, and just wow.

I listened to Yours at the second it was released, I layed down in my bed and stared at the ceiling, I kid you not- I never felt so peaceful being engulfed with his voice echoing in my earphones. Jin always brings comfort. Awake & Epiphany are my favourites too~
I miss Jin and Hobi so much. 2seok are my buddies when I want to tune out everything for a moment of peace 🥺 I listen to Daydream and Dionysus and I feel myself ascending... so good!! Jin's high note in Dionysus is heavenly!! Daydream is so groovy it makes me melt 😭💗 it makes me cry sometimes out of disbelief that these guys exists, at the same time, in this planet, in this vast universe they're here in the same space and time to exist. BTS is so ethereal.

Epiphany was the song that made me ARMY! I cried when I first heard this at a point in time when I was really struggling and didn't even realise it, and it was I needed to hear to turn things around, will forever be greatful for this song 💜
the third song, "yours" is not a cover. it is actually his song and it was an ost for a kdrama series called jirisan. that 4th song, "epiphany" was taken out from the official mv so it was a shortened version of the full song. i recommend you watch the full song thru his live performance to appreciate both the song and jin's live rendition of it💜
Epiphany is the song that literally saved my life, and got me into BTS. I used to play it on loop and ugly cry until one day I decided maybe life was worth living and giving it a chance. I always credit Jin to single handedly saving my life and pulling me out of a dark space.

Ah maybe you’re thinking Autumn Outside the Post Office sounds like Pachelbel’s Canon? That’s what I’m reminded of! The melody of the instrumental sounds nearly exactly like it. It was my first time hearing that one, and I agree, it was incredible! Epiphany and Yours and The Astronaut make me cry all the time, and there are certain parts in certain BTS songs where Jin’s voice really stands out and makes me come to tears, particularly in Spring Day, off the top of my head. He’s got such a powerful voice that just absolutely drips emotion! I adore Jin!

“Autumn Outside the Post Office” was a revelation to me. I’m not a slow song person…. I’m West Indian, so I need to be shaking something all the time. This cover however shook my heart and made me sit up and take notice of Jin’s and BTS ballads.
Just a thought since you read the lyrics later on from doolset, it would be better if you checked out the official Epiphany MV or if you wanted the full version react to the live performance rather that reacting to a random lyric video, since official videos are available. Just a suggestion 💜
Also, I particularly dislike that lyric video channel (jaeguchi or something like that) they get a lot of the lyrics wrong coz they’re always in a hurry and literally post a few minutes after he official MV releases, so much so that it sometimes shows up higher than the actual MV when you search. It just irks me, you’re better off getting the lyrics from doolset or even genius lyrics.

i related to you way too much after listening to abyss. the lyrics and the production tug at my heartstrings so bad, it was written by BUMZU, Jin, RM, and Pdogg and idk, that heavenly combination brought me to tears, the instrumentation and jin's raw emotion in his voice touches a different part of my heart.

Please listen to Awake and then listen to Epiphany again after that. Awake came before Epiphany and is Jin’s first BTS album solo song. It’s about his insecurities, so listening to Awake before Epiphany takes u on a touching narrative.
