Jin is easy to miss at first but once he catches your attention, he’s not giving it back. He has so many layers in his personality and his voice. Once he makes a song his, its very difficult for others to sing it with the same impact and emotions he portray. He’s special 🥹💜

This song is one of my favourites. The whole stadium sang "I'm the one I should love" and first kpop idol to receive standing ovation from Japanese ARMY, the highest form of respect given to the artist. The demo version of epiphany is emotional too.

@@Lilly_02 thats certainly not true, besides the section at 2m12s where he got to pose by himself, he also got main face time at 2m21s till 2:30 (9 seconds) then 3 only face in the frame moments during the na na na section , then 3:13 to 3:20 sole he was the main person in the screen (front center) with lots of zooming into his face only,. so your facts are completely off,
Besides which, he was the visual of the group for a long time, which meant that he got lots of facetime in other music videos.
And Jin would advise that he was approched by both companies for his looks, but he only went to the first stage audition with SM. We love Jin because he worked so hard on his vocals. BH wanted him for visuals, but he became a singer...

Epiphany is such a beautiful song, one of my favorites. The key to the “epiphany” is in the lyrics - “I finally realized, so I love me” - the realization that you need to love yourself. An important message for so many and one that has helped countless ARMYs around the world. I cried the first time I read the translation of the lyrics. Thanks for your reaction!

It was actually this song that turned me into ARMY. I attended a concert with my daughter not knowing anything about BTS. I was in the crowd with 70k+ people of all ages and ethnicities ALL singing this song in Korean! It was amazing and I felt lucky to experience the power Jin displayed while performing this song. Still now (4yrs later) Jin is the one that I am drawn to during their live performances 😻💜💜💜

To know that Jin had to learn to sing...just remember that part. Then to hear him live, it's unbelievable. He has this breathy, natural, nostalgic sound to him. Out the all the members of BTS, Jin has that traditional Korean singer vibe to me. I'm always in awe when I hear him live. It's effortless. I don't know if you guys noticed in "Dionysus", but there's a part when he goes very low and then high within the same line. Jin's vocals in "Epiphany" are so polished, yet raw.

I was at this tour & let me tell you when I say that when Jin when up, we were all crying and everyone was singing along. It was so beautiful 😭

Jin is an all round personality, he plays piano very beautifully. If you just go to his insta and just scroll, you would be amazed to find what his real work is, he is a beautiful soul, who woks to bring happiness to all the members. If you start seeing "run bts" you will know his real personality is very cool and just comforting. His solos are amazing (all of them) and if you know jin the it's not "Stop it" it's "STOB IT"

This is how Jin healed me. Epiphany is my healing song. I was in depression and suicidal. Tried twice to take my own life. But one day coincidentally I heard Epiphany and then I looked into lyrics and I cried. I just cried for hours and hours. After that I listened to this masterpiece every day in the morning and night for 7 months. It became a part of my life and every day routine. Then I gradually got better of course with professional help. At least I was not suicidal anymore.
After that I looked into the singer and then I got to discover Jin. He literally taught me to love myself and value myself. Be confident and be gentle on myself. He became my healer and role model. Then BTS came and I got into the journey of discovering these 7 boys.
If Jin didn't exist then I would have died long ago. I owe him my life. So he will always hold a special place in my life. And I want to add that he is much more than you know. His talents and his personality. You have lot more to know about him. And she was right, it was Jin who apologised to the girl in boy with love recording. He is known as "manner idol" in south Korea because of his beautiful personality. And if course he is the one who is playing piano in the beginning. ....

So I was right. This is one of my favorites forever. Jin alone on stage just singing without dancing or any other background dancers on stage can just mesmerize people . He got that emotional voice with manly tone mixed with a melody. I just don't know how to explain he is my voice bias forever there is just something in his voice

Jin can hit some high notes, the triple high note from crystal snow is awesome to hear.
If you look at the crowd, no one is cheering and they are just listening with complete silence. In Japan, they usually give this sort of appreciation to great opera pieces. At the end of this particular performance, jin received a standing ovation along with the whole crowd clapping and cheering. Usually in other epiphany performances you can hear the ENTIRE crowd singing along about loving themselves, accepting themselves...gives me goosebumps every single time I hear it💜
Imagine being in that crowd with 40,000 fellow ARMYs singing "I'm the one I should love". Let me tell you it is electrifying and so cathartic, everyone was tearing up or crying. Jin really gave us a huge gift with this song. 💜
I think Jin has the best solo songs out of the 7 (for me & no hate to other members♡). Plus he's so good for putting emotion to the song that he sang that it breaks my heart everytime i listen to it. His voice conveys emotion so well. It can make you cry and feel comfort. He makes me feel the song every single time. No wonder he is a critically acclaimed 'silver voice' vocalist by grammy panel.

Now 61 and a Silver ARMY, I am the happiest I've ever felt in my whole life. t was Jin in that "boy in love", apologizing so humbly for pushing the girl because he just had to but he felt sorry for doing so. He is very respectful and is known as "Nation's Son-in law" because every mother wants someone like him for their daughter. he is just such sweet personality, if you know him you're bound to fall in love with the kind of person he is and btw he colored his hair himself and it turned out amazing.

Epiphany is a memorable song for me, it's not just because Jin is my bias but this song is my mom's favorite. I didn't listen to this song for a while now because it reminds me of my mom who died 2 years ago because of Covid. I can still remember vividly like it was like happened yesterday, every time I play this song, my mom started humming and tried to sing along even if she's not sure with the lyrics because some of it are in Korean. The night after my mom's funeral, I can't sleep because of the pain and grieve. I tried playing this song again just to remember my mom that night, and fortunately, I was able to sleep peacefully. Thank you guys for reacting to one of Jin's masterpiece and thank you for appreciating his voice and his effort. I love all of them, but sometimes Jin don't get the recognition he deserves as a vocalist because he gets outshine by the maknae line (JK, V, Jimin) you know not all their fans appreciate his talents and as a Jin bias, it breaks my heart sometimes. Seokjin & Epiphany made me ARMY forever!! I had been watching their videos for a couple of months in the summer of 2020 when I came across this video. The song really struck a chord as I was at a crossroads in my life. My kids were growing up and leaving the nest and work wasn't as fulfilling as it had been plus I was unhappy with my weight, but I kept putting off changing anything in my life as I was so busy taking care of everyone else. Epiphany gave me permission to start thinking about my wants and needs. Fast forward 2.5 years and I've lost 60 pounds, changed jobs last year to one that I really love and flew across country twice to see BTS in both LA & LV which in my former life, I would have never done that! I think precious is a perfect word for Jin! After all these years this song (and Awake) are still in my top 5 BTS songs. I was at this show in Los Angeles, and I can't even describe the energy in the stadium when he belted those final notes. Even though we knew it was coming because they had been on tour with this show for over a year already, he managed to fill every heart in the Rose Bowl.

Rise of bangtan is a good series ... but I am a bit salty over the owner /author of that series .... she seems to be a multistan of one of the big 3 companies ( jyp, sm & yg) n dosent want to call out the unimaginable dirty politics done by the big 3 to bring down BTS & bang pd during n after their debut in her series .... which in return makes me n many Army's angry .... many Army's have shown the displeasure over the owner not taking names of the big 3 in her series .... so

They won't need to watch that because of the new documentary series "bts monuments: beyond the star" releasing soon on disney+. it'll show the last 9 years of bts since debut with never before seen footage and exclusive stories. that seems way more worthwhile tbh, the rise of bangtan is from a fan perspective and takes the footage mostly from bts' own offiicial documentaries anyways lol

This is still one of my top 10 BTS songs. It's so touching lyrically and vocally stunning. Jin really is such a wonderful singer and an even more wonderful person so his songs hit even harder knowing that these lyrics are for him as much as ARMY. Also...him being 30 yet also being doted on like a kid is VERY commn. Especially with Korean elders. They adore Jin and his respectful nature, kind soul and ability to be simulteneously 3 years old, 30 years old and 80 years old all at once lol. He can charm anyone but he's really got the elders in his clutches. They will go on and on about how he's such a polite, thoughtful young man. And BTS babies him endlessly the minute they think they can get away with it without him complaining at them.

i heard this live and seokjin's voice is so clear and the emotions exuded, it sounded heavenly. yes, serendipity, euphoria, and epiphany was performed in one concert tour. i went to the Love Yoursel Speak Yourself in Rose Bowl. epiphany, and i don't take saying this lightly, changed my life. when the mv dropped and his voice and the lyrics, i cried for 5 hours straight. i'll never forget that day... it's like i also had an epiphany and it hurts but also it's so relieving. also, in the concert, imagine thousands of armys in tears while singing "i'm the one i should love..." it was so magical.

I'm so happy, I could cry. I'm one of the few who didn't appreciate Jin's voice or contribution to the group in the beginning. I got into BTS in 2015. Once I started seeing his personality and how he took care of the group I started paying more attention to his singing and dancing. I got bias wrecked after the Fire video. He has been my Bias Wrecker, with Jhope as my Ultimate Bias. Thank you so much for your reactions, I keep learning from You guys and always leave with a smile.🤗💜

JIn's voice shines in his solos and in their Japanese songs imho, and in the vocal line ballads. I also love the bit in Dionysus where he goes low and then into falsetto in the call-response with RM. As much as I love Jimin's tone, I get a little annoyed when people mistake Jin's high notes for Jimin's because to me they have such different timbres. (look at me probably misusing musical terms all over the place lol)
