Heath Ledger
It's amazing how Aussie's can do all different American & Pommy accents yet no American's or Poms can do our Aussie accent. When American's try & do an Aussie accent they sound like a drunk pom & when the poms do our accent they sound like high Kiwi's
2 more Aussies I can think of, Simon Baker in series The Mentalist and Toni Collette in The Sixth Sense.
Both great, and United states of Tara... Collette was fantastic in that.
@@jemxs
Yes totally agree. She was wonderful in Tara. I love watching her interviews too, she’s so down to earth and funny
They missed the Hemsworth brothers and Eric Bana (The Hulk) just to nme a couple.
How many Hemsworth brothers?
Also forgot naomi watts jesse spencer etc
Anthony LaPaglia
@@RandomStuff-he7lu 3 ...Luke, Chris and Liam
@@user-bi8wp6wy3l Most people forget Luke who is the best of the 3.
guy pearce was missed here, outstanding in Lawless.
It would be good if you both could swap sides it looks kinda weird when you turn to look at each other. Just a suggestion, keep up the good work 👍👌
Errol Flynn 1930s idol from Tasmania. You 2 wouldn't know him you're waaay too young, any old swashbuckling fans would know him⚔️🤺
In like Flynn
Olivia Newton John.
RIP
British/Australian actually, born in Cambridge UK
@@sirjonty18
I know but everyone say Australian, everyone calls me Australian but I'm English also Yorkshire Huddersfield.
Missed Anthony Le Perlia, Toni Collette and Chris Hemsworth and his Brother
Errol Flynn!
@@warrenturner397 yep him too and Jack Thompson
Lapaglia. Also there are 3 Hemsworth bros.
I’m with you Mackenzie, I’m Aussie and I don’t know many of these actors or their films either
Emily Browning - born Dec 7th 1988 in Melbourne learnt her American accent watching Sesame Street
For how small our country its crazy that we have thousands of top tier actors that have broken through overseas.
Margots family is from Dalby, Queensland a small country town not far from were i grew up in Toowoomba (2nd biggest inland city in Aus)
I went to highschool with one of her cousins. She goes back almost every Christmas and we all give her shxt and banter about her accent 😂
Already I’m Lovin this new set up guys 🤙😎
One of my favourite Hugh Jackman movies was one he did with Nicole Kidman in 2008 in Australia, aptly titled AUSTRALIA. Beautiful music, scenery and a very gorgeous Hugh throughout. It's a long one nearly 3 hours but you get to see him at his very best in outback Australia. This is the movie trailer of it: czcams.com/video/M_PMKB5T4n4/video.html He made a name for himself in New York when he first came over on Broadway in the musical THE BOY FROM OZ. Sold out concerts for a year or so.
Cringy pile of crap that movie was.
@@geofftottenperthcoys9944 It's funny how some people didn't get it and some did. People either loved it or hated it. I am the former. Loved it a lot and saw it many times and I know Hollywood felt threatened by it at the time. It hardly got any publicity there, but they were very quick to offer Hugh Jackman the SEXIEST MAN ALIVE title and asked him to host the Academy Awards just after it came out. Interesting.
There might be a worse Astralian movie ever made but I'm buggered if I can think of it. Complete pile of crap from start to finish. Betcha Hugh hasn't got it on his CV.
@@warrenturner397 That is just your take. I know of people that really loved it. It was Baz Lurhman's tribute to the early classics in Hollywood, hence the over-acting parts in it, like the slow kissing scene under the tree. The horsemanship was superb and the beautiful outback scenes breathtaking. Some CGI granted, but not all. I was just saddened that the film company gave the beautiful homestead to the aboriginals. By 2011 it was a wreck and had to be brought to the ground. But wait, let me guess, you liked him in Wolverine, right??? LOL
Some Americans live in their own bubble, who have absolutely no idea
Didn’t fight! Think of the children!
Had a crush on Nicole Kidman since I saw BMX bandits in the cinema..yea I am that old.
check out "two hands" the aussie movie that made heath ledger and rose byrne.
Christopher atkins , simon denny , guy peirce , iggy azalea, troy ... sivan , kylie minouge
Travis fimmel is an ex modle and very much a typical aussie guy.
I'm Aussie and h are of 6 of those but don't think I have seen any movie or show with them in it
This video is about 4yrs old, so some actors might not be on here. Perhaps there is a more updated version.?
How could she miss Chris Hemsworth?
Too popular everyone knows him and where he's from
1 of my friends sold Joel weed, he was visiting with another friend of ours, way back in 90s lol
you have to watch Nichole in a series called "Bangkok Hilton", even though "BMX Bandits" is 1st big movie she was in, it's the role that showcased her acting
Heath Ledger (RIP) could of been on this list IMO, I assume she either left him out because of how long it's been, it was well known he was Ozzie or just not quite making her cut
Kenzie looks like rose burn
She missed Sarah Snook
There's SOOOOOOOOOOOO many other Aussie actors who are working in America and no one knows they are AUssie...
There must be a database somewhere
I'll go take a gander
Yes where was Heath Ledger ? 💚💖😊
React to revenge for Gracie once were warriors New Zealand
Yeah Jake the Muss went on to Star Wars as Jango Fette. He was the one they cloned for the clone army and he kept Bobba Fette to raise as a son. Kiwi's were a big part of Star Wars.
Ironic that the presenter carries on endlessly about 'nailing the accent', she has quite a noticeable English inflection to her own accent.
Well I did find out something I didn't know - Kate Blanchett was born in Mel-BORN! Can't stand her BTW.
@@warrenturner397 hell heah! It's Melbin!
I dunno… I think it’s pretty dumb to not know a few of these. All of them actually, well the known ones anyway.
Mel Gibson
Well you learn something every day - didn't know Kate Blanchett came from Mel-BORN. And I'll bet 5 million squillion quid that Hugh Jackman hasn't got "Australia" on his CV. If there was a worse Austrlaian ever made I've yet to find it. Absolute crap from start to finish.
Please offer McKenzie a handkerchief ...she has a runny nose.
What is the point of this women? she doesnt know anything about anything. Terrible reaction.
