Hope you look back at this vid after two years and make a reaction vid
I would also be interested in videos where you interview multiple Wharton classmates with varying backgrounds and career aspirations, to learn more about how different people in the MBA program really are from each other. Especially since Lauder is specifically a program for people that speak a second language, and thatâs such a big selling point. I obviously donât expect all other MBAs in the class to also have worked in finance and now be creating CZcams channels. Itâll be interesting to hear all the different pathâs people are on
Thank you for such an open sharing! all the best!
I have an awesome morning today. Thank you Ben
Im at penn too rn for summer courses before freshman year!! Hope you see you around soon
Wharton has a very corporate-oriented mindset (Iâve been an exchange student there during my undergrad, so Iâm talking from personal experience).
Even though the people there are extremely smart and have amazing work ethic, I guess it will be hard to find someone who (without previous startup experience) will truly stick with a startup idea and seriously continue working on it post-graduation, so it might be tough to find co-founders.
And after a year at Wharton, it would be interesting to hear if your goals that youâve stated in the video have changed or not, cause Pennâs culture is really good at crushing peopleâs authentic paths and making everyone corporate-ready (whether it is IB, or VC, or consulting).
I really wish it doesnât happen to you thought. I wish you best of luck at Wharton!
Great video, Ben. Thank you for sharing, it helps to set my own goals. Fingers crossed for all the goal you set.
I was wondering if I want to purchase your guides or other products, can I pay by crypto? Since I am based in Russia atm, my cards are not acceptable outside Russia:(((
Hi, I hope you are well. I just wanted to ask about the format of this program, is it research based or more practical in a way. Sorry, I know its a dumb question but I just basically wanted to find out if will have to write research pieces every week or is it problem solving?
I'm really interested in seeing how you balance your business with finding like-minded people in your MBA. When you're discussing that you're building out your courses with classmates, is their background specifically banking/investment related too, or is it completely different? I know it's more complex than this, but I guess I'm wondering if it's the people or their background that is more important to you when working with them.
I was wondering as well if banking/MBA is similar globally? If it were, there's the potential to work with translators and market and sell them to potential candidates in other countries where English isn't the first language, similar to how your early videos were translated into Korean and Chinese. At worst, it could be an opportunity worth exploring, even if it means tweaking a few things to suit a particular country's educational need. I dunno, maybe it's for something further down the line?
And the video quality is crisp as fuck!
I am an engineer and planning to come in as an International in a US MBA program. I did some self calculation and I "might" break-even after 6 years post MBA (considering no $ and 200K total MBA cost). I'm worried that I might go back to my home country with a huge debt after the 3-year STEM OPT. I am 8 years out of college. MBA is a dream of mine since I was a kid, but practicality-wise it doesn't make that much sense to me.
Is an MBA right for me, or should I go with a cheaper MS degree in order to just work in the US and maybe get an MBA afterward (say, when I am 35)?
Why just focus are the US? Sure they have top programs but there are a good number of Top 50 schools in Europe or Asia that cost considerably less. Or if you want to mitigate the loss in wages you would experience by studying full time you could do a part time program like I am doing right now. There are a lot of different options and there is no one right answer as long as you find something that meets your personal and professional goals
Not all mba r that $200 k expensive many good uni r there like ASU wp Carrey b xul , BU , Foster business school Uwash , UT Austin
Also let me say u another hack if u go in a L1 visa intern transfer u can study in US but u don't have to pay international student fee rather instate fee if u paying tax for 6 months to 1 yr ..
dont do it man. its not worth it
Ben you're a real nigga! top G!!!
Why an MBA and not a Master of Science? Do you think the MBA will give you the networking you need? I personally did a Master of Science just for the learning, and being competitive in the labor market.
I donât think you really need to do an MBA but it probably helps you with the network you get
MBA does not teach how to make money and be a top G like Andrew tate
Hey I want to run my ad on your channel. Can u pitch me your fees
âGetting your MBA costs about $200,000 all inâ
Go to a state college bud. My bachelors in Mechanical Engineering + MBA cost about $90k
Iâve started an ran 3 businesses so far. Having an MBA seems (to me) to be way overrated. Another thing is, you seem to be a bit âall over the placeâ when it comes to what you want to do. One moment itâs rareliquid, then itâs exploring VC. Most (successful) entrepreneurs are laser focused on one thing.
i have a long term plan which will help make everything fit together dw about me haha
@@rareliquidcareers I thought your plan was VC/ PE from one of your videos a while back. Maybe I am remembering wrong. Is your international studies goal going to help you open your market in Asia?
Kamu mirip police
how old are you bro
I would guess he is 25
Hey buddy,
I'm starting my MS CS this Fall, after having entrepreneurial experience at Antler, VC firm in SG. Let me know if you are interested to build Defi startup. We can connect over LinkedIn.
Fun fact - Screwed up all my B-school apps this year
