Congratulations dude! I recently completed my MBA and it was the best decision I ever made. I was hesitant at first and by networking with others, I went for it. I have health issues within my family too so I have paused the job search but will be back in the USA soon. Good luck!

Congrats!! I was actually in the Huntsman Program at Wharton + Penn, which is basically the Lauder program for undergrad :) I had the best time and the Huntsman/Lauder students really do become your family within Penn!

Having a banking background myself, I’ve heard so many people say b school was the best two years of their life ! Not to mention the MBA is going to gain a ton of credibility. VCs will love to see it during your seed funding/series A 😉 lol congrats man
I'm not sure that having an MBA bears much relevance when raising early stage VC? From my experience, I'd imagine it's actually one of the last things they would pay notice to when assessing you and your team. (Coming from someone who does want to get an MBA at some point over the next 10 years).

I also recently applied for an MBA program during the pandemic because the GMAT requirement was being waived. It's not a top business school but they recently became AACSB and their tuition is not crazy expensive which is a plus since I'm paying for my MBA without any scholarships or grants. Wish you the best on this new journey !

That's funny. I'm in Colombia rn on vacation and just met the students of the wharton mba program there on a party. They booked a whole club which made sense as they were over 500 people including partners as well. They told me it's tradition to go on a trip with people from school and they chose Colombia. I spoke to some of them and they all seemed pretty cool ;)
I (as a European) was just surprised that like 50% seemed to have an Asian background. Guess they're the most hard working.
