I currently use a different brand with a medium/strong hold, but also have a tin of Death Grip for when I need it (it was particularly useful in Spain last year, where it was plenty warm every day). Now I might have to seek out a tin of Sudden Death. Tried many different brands over the years, and Death Grip is right up there in my top three. If the quality of Sudden Death is anywhere near Death Grip, I'm going to have a very happy tache. 🙂

Thanks for sharing. I dunno if maybe I'm just not using it right, or not waiting long enough for the wax to set properly but I tend to find the deathgrip strong and xtra strong waxes don't work as well for me. That's not to say that they're bad by any means and still use them from time to time
from what I have seen and others told me it is usualy the use that's wrong, either not enough or too much, can make it seem to not work well. it seems weird that too much would be bad, but it can really weigh down the mustache. I have a video on how to apply strong hold wax that you may want to check out. Also, make sure it's warmed up plenty.

Best would depend on your hair type and style however if your just looking for something to manage it thats quick id say that most of the bees wax based products on the market that are in the medium hold strength category would work for you
A couple of other points that you have missed. The temperature and humidity of your area may also affect the hold that you require. I find that Vintage Grooming a little too overpriced for the $0.25 worth of ingredients. There are plenty of videos and recipes out there to make your own wax to your own needs including scent. They are usually a blend of bees wax, paraffin, mineral oil, scent that you warm up and gently mix. Even if you don't get it right the first time, keep track of your proportions and you can modify a recipe by thickening or thinning it out. The last factor on which wax to use is the humidity under a face mask. Many handlebar users have so little self confidence in themselves that they often choose not to mask up just so they can show off a nice one. Haha.
I would have to disagree with you on a few of your points and Ill explain why. I left out temp because that is something that all waxes have an issue with after all they are made of bees was and wax gets soft and melts, because of this I have found that all strong hold waxes hold about the same in the heat. I do sopose I could have mentioned that so there I will agree. Sure you can make your own wax but you can also hatch, feed and butcher a chicken yourself as well, doesn't mean that everyone wants to do it. VG has put much time into perfecting their products and no matter what list I make they seam to always be on it and are priced about the same as most others. Its not so much the humidity that effects a mustache under a mask as its the additional heat from exhaling in a confined space that tends to mess with it. I assume your talking about covid masks here. I have not met one person that didn't wear thiere mask due to not wanting to mess up thiere stache. I know many with handlebars and It was all about personal choice and freedom of choice then it was about messing up a mustache. where there some out there I assume so but none that I know. I can tell you that most handlebar men I know are some of the most confident Men that I have ever met. It takes confidence to proudly grow a stache that 85% of the population thinks are stupid. Good points across the board. I’m six months into stash grow and have found an interesting hack no products necessary: use small barrel brush to continually twirl mustache into shape best to sit in car using mirrors and perform twirl for as long as needed result is a nice totally natural set/hold

I don't know where you live, but in California, most people do not think a mustache is stupid. Most men who sport mustaches don't use mustache wax, but keep their mustaches clean and trimmed. Most of my friends who use wax are the one more inclined to also have food and debris in their greasy mustaches; not really a chick magnet. So just enjoy yours and not worry about how confident other men are.
hmm interesting. wonder what waxes they are using since you say they are greasy.. maybe they should watch my channel to learn about some better waxes and mustache care. Is there a good alternative to mustache wax? My husband has sensitive skin and every mustache wax he has tried winds up irritating his skin. They all had beeswax in them so maybe that was the irritant; I don't know. What can he use to keep his large mustache looking good?
If the bees wax is indeed the irritant he has a rare allergy as thats not a common one. I do know that strongman grooming has a vegan friendly wax that uses candililla wax in place of the bees wax. It is transparent, non-scented and will not get your cheeks greasy. Think of it as a thick hair gel. It rinses out easily in the shower. It is designed as children's glue so it is nontoxic if accidentally ingested. Shape your stache once and it will not need to be constantly twirled and readjusted all day. Best of all, it is about 1/5 the price of common mustache waxes. You don't need to carry a tin with you anymore, since the stache gel can be reshaped without getting your fingers oily. Try it, what have you got to lose?
watch through my reviews particularly Ranger, stache bomb, and really any of the medium hold waxs I have reviewed. Im not a fan of light hold as for me it seams to be more work then i like through out the day.
I bought soon woodies and was quite surprised by it. Works nice for a short to mid Angel wing. Soft to the touch. Easy to apply. Has a soft minty scent. I find that I can change style quite a bit just by the wax I use. Clubman is solid hold for a straight English thin moustache but it is extremely waxy. (Yeah it's a wax I get it. I like it.) It's probably not a good wax for Angel Wings. Got 2 be glued is an all day, though it doesn't work well for me with any type of strong twist. It's also hard as a rock when set. It's not a wax. Not sure how good it is for the cuticle. Proraso is similar but loads more expensive than got 2 be. I think they call the scent wood and spice, but to be it smells like it's off-gassing all day. Softer than got 2 be but not an all day hold for my styles. Though considered a classic, it doesn't do it for me. Try different things. I like the idea in this vid if using more the one wax for your styling. I'll have to give that a go.

I think since I live in the hot Hell of Arizona, I wouldn’t need that blow dryer for Death Grip but we’ll try it out and I’ll let you know! haha

i just need an easy apply light hold wax for day to day use, and if i need anything stronger i have can you handlebar primary
