- Do you want to learn how to create a snow diorama? Then you've come to the right place! This Star Wars Hobby Tutorial is the third in a series of 3 videos dedicated to my Crashed X-Wing build, which is a piece of Star Wars Legion Terrain. Each of the videos documents the process leading up to a particular painting or weathering technique. Tonight’s video is all about applying snow effects to your models...and more specifically, about how to create a snow diorama inspired by the Battle of Hoth.
Are you looking for advice on how to use what I consider the best products to create snow dioramas, such as AK Terrains Snow, Microballoons, Snow Sprinkles, Ice Sparkles, or Still Water? I got you covered!
Or perhaps you just want to know how to make snow bases for Star Wars Legion? Either way, this video is for you!

great job on this Enrique, i feel like you nailed it on this one. the shading in the snow is probably my favorite bit. it brings it to life. shading is something that i want to work on more myself.
Absolutely lovely work on the snow, mate. I hope that we see a full Hoth diorama soon!
And I know exactly what you mean about planning too much.
Thank you very much, buddy! Yeah, planning is great, but we have to leave some room for improvisation also! 😉
