If I depended on my kitchen garden to feed my family maybe I’d do the crow warning too but for now I’ve planted a perimeter of edible hedging, elder, hazel, wild cherry and perry, hawthorn for sloe berries round my garden . I don’t mind sharing those, birds got to eat too when food is scarce.
can I have this sort of a garden in California? I can't imagine anything thriving in California heat without watering. thank you, you are a great inspiration.
Good day I thank you for sharing all your wisdom with growing fruit. I love this time of year going to farmers market and purchasing local freshly harvested fruits from small Organic local growers. I recently purchased 1 pound of cherries I was told was an uncommon variety. I tell you each one was as good as the next and took my taste buds away as well as breath. The bender had 8 other varieties at 1/2 the price so I purchased a little of each variety as well. My intentions is to grow the seeds of the one I favored and to have the others as to cross pollinate. I an new to planting seeds from fruit and would love any helpful advice on how to plant cherry seeds. Is it true the need another variety of same to produce fruit? In my research I found people share what worked for them and one that I found interesting is cracking the hard shell surrounding the seed without injuring it and placing it on a damp paper towel in a plastic bag placing it in the fridge for 10 days until seed shows sprouting occur the plant it in soil in dappled light until it matures enough to be planted outside. I was just resenting killing any animal just to post it up like a flag when it did no wrong. I understand the concept, love it, but I didn't want to kill an "innocent" animal that wouldn't be used for anything but being put on display. God answered my prayers. I was on my way back from town, and found a large prey bird that had been recently hit by a vehicle. God blessed me with this gift knowing I had issues with just killing the animal for no other purpose than hanging it up. God is good!!!
If you were dependent on what you grew to provide food for you and your family, you would gladly kill an animal for the same purpose Paul did. We're just not there yet.
I have great respect for Paul's advice in many, many things I've heard. This hanging out of a creature you have killed is to my dislike tho, I found the laughing about it unsettling. I do not have the knowledge tho to know if there is any other way of protecting the food?
I don't how I end here ??? I was searching for help about my figs tree a fackjng black bird eats all my figs everyday it's like his breakfast . Than I watch this other dude with some good tips and finally I end up with this dude and I don't know what the fack he is Cellining hahaha
All these people talking about killing the bird is wrong. I hope you are against abortion, hope you are vegetarian, hope you don't wear leather or any animal skin. I hope you don't kill the poisonous snakes in your backyard, I hooe you don't kill the mosquitoes that carry Dengue or any other diseases. People want to be voice for every single thing that they have become total Fools.

Dec 2020 - the stores are closed, our province is on lockdown and the food has a limit per customer.
The kid behind him just wanted to eat an apple and now hes terrified of the future. lol.
Animals do know. I poured my dog some bottled water and he wouldn't drink it and I looked at the label and it was flavored water with aspartame.
