If I can give something back, you pulled out that deflated ball and the throw pillow, what I had on my desk was a microfiber towel. folded it in on itself to make three layers, then folded that in half to make six. Sat the palm of my hand on that on the desk and yeah those stretches in the hand feel great! Thanks so much!
I am still in the cast. Will remove on June 9. While in the cast,I started working on each finger joints. Band my fingers and trying to do a fist. It really helped me to get rid of swelling. And I can straighten my fingers now.

Hey guys, thanks so much for your channel! I'm one month after cast removal (broken thumb). Thumb seems fine, a little stiff though, but the serious issue I'm having is that no matter how much exercises I do for my wrist, it would always become stiff again after a while. I'd put my hand in warm water a few times a day, use weight to stretch it up and down, it would feel fine, but half an hour later it'd be stiff again. Does it eventually get back to normal? or should I expect to have to do that for years now? how long should it take ? thanks so much.
I just remove mg external fixator for 1 month. Now im dealing with my wrist and fingers because the are stiff and not numb its hard to bend my fingers just like before. Pls help

Falling on street and breaking my left wrist I had urgent distal radius surgery with metal plate and 9 screws in August 2019. Now my wrist is still painful, swollen, my fingers numbed, it is irritating, very uncomfortable. I need urgent surgery to remove the metal plate + the screws and I can’t find understanding for that. Actually, this surgery is a deliberate attempt for torture? Please, intervene for me to have the removal surgery performed urgently in good conditions (July 2020).

I broke my 5th metacarpal anyone else break it too ? I can share some info but i also have questions, so i had a intra articular fracture and i was in a cast forsure for 6 weeks. I didnt have surgery, but i was wondering how long til i can move my wrist atleast 10-20% more than right now. I wanted to know how long did ur recovery time take after cast ? Im 20 an i can move my fingers grab things open most doors its just my wrist is swollen a bit and stiff. Would love to hear back from anyone elses experiences after cast
I also broke the 5th metacarpal. In two places so its a comminuted fracture. They removed my cast on monday, but it's still broken according to the xray. My ring finer and pinky are all swollen with huge finger joint. can't move them at all. My wrist is stiff but movement is probably 80% of what it was, but that seems pretty good. Can you bend your ring and pinky fingers??
@@robotikempire yea i can bend both of those fingers its a bit of a challenge with my pinky but, i just use my other hand to excerise it. i broke the joint in my hand connected to my wrist so mine was bad my wrist cant move outward but i can move it in and up an down i just got cast off yesterday and i can alreadyt do alot but not a crazy ammount like i cant eat certin ways and shower certin ways
@@SixStringChannel went to a hand specialist who said, I don't know what that last guy was smoking but your bone is healed. He urged me to start aggressive stretching exercises which I did for like 6 months. I lost minor range of motion in my pinky but nothing that interferes with my life.
For a meantime i try to excersice too move my wrist inside a cast. Because i feel like i can move it a little. To left/ride down/up. And a stressball. And i tried squishing my four fingers on my thumb individually as hard as i can. Dunno this is my first time having a broken wrist. See you guys on august 19.

Can you still gain flexibility if my wrist broke for 10 years and just push through the pain? Basically if layed out flat and even with fingers extending the direction i am facing, my left hand cant go inwards as much as my right hand can
@@David-rh2fe this was 3 years ago and now my worst is perfect but i think about after 1 month it didn’t hurt at all maybe even less time. but my grip strength wasn’t the best for like 2-3 months and would hurt a bit if i tried to grip things really tight
I was playing soccer broke it then then like 5 months later I sprayed in playing soccer (lucky for only 2 weeks ) then I sprayed it playing volleyball , turn out not me being rough even though I am cause my hand healed just not properly that why kept getting sprayed easily

It was remove now. August 19. Weird and scary to move for the first time being not able to move my wrist
No need for therapy because i can move it. Well it has limit to bend because it didnt move for 1 month
