I always keep wet wipes in my car to clean my hands after going shopping, getting gas, going thrifting.
I use them to wipe off the inside of the car
I have some wet wipes in my car. The ones I tossed were dry (and almost gone).
Good idea!
I do the same thing - especially thrifting.
I enjoy spending 15 minutes with you. love how you are straightforward and sincere. Need more people on CZcams like you!! đ
Thank you! â€ïž
It's good to see what you can do in 15 minutes. Thanks for sharing and inspiring us x
Youâre welcome!
I cleaned out a cabinet today at work. Threw out half the stuff in there we had not used in maybe 10 years. Felt fantastic. Small office. Every space is precious. Waaay better
Yes! I bet it felt amazing. đđ»
This was a
Really good video.
I love how you talk through the thinking process. I like that you organise in real time and show that that takes time and thinking and can be difficult or frustrating until you get it right. I appreciate you telling your feelings of overwhelm its so relatable. You do a very good detailed job. Well done â€
Thank you! â€ïž
I really like you and I LOVE your channel. Like Andrea Jean, you are really refreshing. Youâre in my top 5. I havenât watched tv in years. Not since I started watching CZcams, so I watch a lot of CZcams. lol. Youâre just straight on refreshing and your content is always enjoyable.
Wow! That is so nice! Thank you. â€ïž
A tip to take every inch out of a tube is to cut the tube halfway down, cut the half with the cap again into two this part is normally norrower but round, to you half is usually wider but more oval.
Slide the top part over the remains product you may need to wedge the top over the bottom.
You donât use it as a tube you have to dip your finger into the remainder of the product. If something is really expensive and you want to make use of every drop. Then this make as great way of ensuring every bit is used and not wasted.
Thanks for the tip! I am pretty good about getting every last drop of product. The one I tossed really had been dried up and empty.
I love your 15 min declutters, especially when you go over the time because you're in the mood to keep going. Im going to give that ago. Have a lovely week x
Thank you! â€ïž

Decanting the toilet paper made me smile! It only fits in our bathroom out of the package, so I have to do the same thing.
Haha. Iâve decided I hate decanting. đŹđ€Ł
I have to do periodically also.đ
Itâs too bad, huh? It would be nice if we could do it once and be done! đ
Link to the clear bigger bin you used, please! Love those!
Iâm glad you kept going after the timer went off. Usually the hardest is getting started! Am I a dork if I found the nail polish declutter/organization satisfying?! lol Another great video! đ
brandcycle.shop/0dxpk Here ya go!
@@reallifewithali I was just on Amazon looking, ha!!
Where are the smooth frosted bins from please? The look like a really good size that I could use.
From Target! brandcycle.shop/0dxpk
Sometimes when I find a space get cluttered again quickly and I am forgetting that I have an overflow in a basket. I get rid of the basket and keep everything in the shelf so I can see it. Just a suggestion.
Thanks for the suggestion. I like to have things put away in baskets so I don't have to see it. I don't like the visual clutter. đ
As for your medications. I don't know what you mean by "get ride of" but it should not be tossed into the trash(landfill) or flushed down the toilet which isn't good for the water system. There is a drop off box at my local hospital. It's right down the hallway from the reception desk and looks like a mail box. It's a safe way to dispose of them. I believe that in my town they also accept them at the police station.
Our Wal-Mart neighborhood stores have put those collection boxes in....
Yes, I still have them in a bag to be disposed properly. Thanks for the tip!
Thatâs nice! I wonder if ours has too. đ€
@@r.p.9829 Oh, that's good to know. Makes it very convenient. I will have to check my store for future reference.
I bought the same refillable bottles several months back and after the first attempt was like nope, nope nope. Ain't nobody got time to decant thick conditioner LOL! I donated them but it took forever to clean out the residual soap. Lawd.....
Haha. Yup! I tried using the little funnel and there was no way that conditioner was going down that. lol.
You did a great job in a little bit of time. It's hard to stay on top of it.
Thank you!
I use a shoe organizer on the back of bathroom door. Toothpaste, toothbrushs, Pain meds., tums etc. Labeled of course.đ That way hubs can find what he needs with out asking where something is.
Good idea! I love using shoe organizers for other things.
Packaging always takes up too much space. I categorize my bathroom closet as follows. Dental related items all in one bin. Soap, shampoos and conditioners all in another bin. Deodorant, razors and lotions that are used on the skin are all in together. Ladies feminine items in another bin. I hope that helps someone organize their bathroom closets.
Thanks for sharing!
My suggestion is to use one bin for each category, one for hair, oral care, lotions. Just looking at the first bin you are organizing it is all jumbled together. I love your videos though.
Thanks for the suggestion!
It seems like your containers are too deep for all the small things you keep in them. So they become a big jumble. Maybe install an extra shelf and get more shallow containers for easier access and a better view of what you have.
Alos, I buy my toiletries in bulk every year around November. So I have toothbrushes and tooth paste and soap for the next year (or two) in stock.
That is a good idea. I guess I use the deep containers for the "extras" because many of them are large and tall, like the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. But I love the idea. Thanks!
@@reallifewithali Yes, definitely keep the containers for the larger bottles. But I find that the smaller items can easily get 'lost' in those bigger containers :-)
@@EmOrganizer thatâs true! Thanks for the suggestion. đ
The plain strong mint Fisherman's Friends (or Foes) is a good one; but the menthol or anything else that creeps in tastes a bit tar like! Not like I eat tar.....just sayin'. :-) Good job decluttering! I think the problem with clutter can relate to the big box stores, esp. in the USA . If you buy in bulk, you end up "storing" or looking for where they are going to be stored, thus: clutter returns! It becomes overwhelming. I have a 60 mile roundtrip commute to our nearest town for shopping, and yet, I don't run out of anything. I have some spares, but only what I truly need. We have a small cottage with little storage space, so each shelf is vital real estate!
Thanks! I totally understand having to âstoreâ those items. Thatâs why Iâm trying to use the âcontainer conceptâ and only buy what fits comfortably in the bins. Obviously, I didnât do that great, but I have to motivation to! Plus we have a large family living here. I have to space to store it so Iâm not too concerned.
@@reallifewithali Your methods are great! You are a wonderful speaker. I think we will always declutter in this generation! I love your videos. I am in Scotland by the way.
@@nikkiross2208 Aww, thank you! You made my day. I would LOVE to visit Scotland. One day I'll make it there.
@@reallifewithali I'm from LA originally. The best place is here! Lots of sheep and greenery. Come on over! đ
@@nikkiross2208 Haha. Iâll be right over. đ
My first time here. Maybe label your white bins since you are not using clear.,
Good idea! Thanks.
Use wipes for cleaning.
Good idea.
Doesnât this seem like youâre buying too much if it keeps adding up. This isnât a comment to drag youâŠ.but I hope others reading it see that their Costco savings are not saving much really.
Yes there are definitely times I am buying too much! I am learning (slower than I want lol) to buy less and more intentionally. But there are things that I do like to buy in bulk because they do save me money and I know I use them. I just need to do better at controlling how much of that I actually bring in my home. I donât want baskets to be bursting like they were in my bathroom. đŹ
I get it. Soap/toothbrushes in bulk are great with kids because they never go bad but Iâve learned that this crap is alway on sale and itâs always easy to grab at the storeâŠ
Someone said that why it called the âStoresâ. They store all the crap so we donât have to.
Good example for people who canât get started.
@@Amanda-yd2ey That is true. I just prefer to have it on hand because I hate it when I run out and need it right them. I tend to do that! Haha.
Take the stuff out of the boxes they take up to much space.
Thatâs what I did! And my goal is to always do it before putting the items away. đŹ
Did you not watch the video đ
@me4011 đŹđ
Give the soap you dont like to other people or the homeless.dont just toss it.
I donate as much as I can unless itâs actually garbage. When I say things can go, I mean donate or trash. đ
