#20 Install and quick test of Kioti CKA165 Backhoe Thumb Kit

Installing a thumb kit on my Kioti ck3510se.
OEM Kioti CKA165 Backhoe Bucket Thumb for KB2465 & KB2475L Backhoe.
Tools recommended:
13mm and 17mm sockets/wrenches
Torque wrench
Rubber mallet
Punch
Grease
Thread anti-seize
Torque specs for many metric bolts can be found in section 12 of your backhoe manual.

Really do wish my KB2475L had the upper pin bracket built into the arm so I could install a thumb without welding. Guess mine is an older model (2017). Probably wouldn't be too hard to fabricate the bracket. Thanks for the video!

Did the instructions come with torque specs for the bolts?

The torque specs did not come with it. However, the torque specs can be found in the backhoe manual.

Did you buy the backhoe with the tractor?

Yes. That way it was part of the loan

You're 3rd. Hole or 2nd hole is better for picking up things, you will have trouble using your bucket the way you have it now.
