I've been sewing for nearly 2 decades and THIS IS THE FIRST TIME SOMEONE HAS TOLD ME WHY MY HEMS ARE UNEVEN??? The bias stretching thing would have saved like... every project I've ever worked on 😭
I absolutely love her top pattern she used I’ve made so many shirts with that pattern and I definitely recommend once you get it down its so easy and usually takes me about 45 minutes 😅🙌
Whow that is a classy outfit! I love how the skirt has an elastic waistband but doesn't look like so because of the pattern being cut on the bias. And the slightly sassy top you're wearing is awesome ❤ Thx for sharing.
This definitely made me interested in the turtleneck pattern, especially with winter coming up, but I'm a size XXL-XXXL so I'd have to do a quite a bit of grading on the pattern, even with a stretch fabric. Have you thought about adding a greater size range to your patterns anytime soon? I know your process of getting a pattern prepped for sale is already super labor intensive, but it would definitely be a welcome addition. Just curious! Love this as always!
I have that fabric too! I love it so much! I did a color block a line dress and used the shiny side and the other side for the color blocks. It turned out really cute ❤
She’s so talented like she can literally create an idea for an outfit and literally make it like I wish I could do that I usually can’t find things that I want to wear and if I do their expensive as hell but she create beautiful outfits with a budget that’s a really talent right there 🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽
I’ve sewed a dress with shiny side too cause more shiny lol and now I’m thinking the shiny flowers woulda looked pretty cool reflecting every time I walked 🤦🏻♀️ maybe I can redo it lol if I have the time 😏
Hi! I was wondering if you could make a jumpsuit pattern? I love jumpsuits, but they are sometimes expensive and where I live we don't have thrift stores that have some good stuff. So I wanted to make one 🥰💖 Love your videos! 🥰💖
Literally just made the turtleneck over the weekend, can attest if you know what you're doing and are snappy about it you could easily get it done that quickly. I think all up it took me about 5hrs including printing the pattern and putting it together and cutting it out and everything, but I was also taking my time and made a few mistakes along the way. Imma make heaps more and get good at them 😂😂
I want to gift my mom a new sewing machine, but I'm not sure which one is the best since not every machine can work with every fabric. What is your machine? Would you recommend it? Thank you 🥺

I would also probably steam or iron the wrinkles out, because that can also make your hem uneven.
Idk how you do all this, you are seriously so talented. I would buy all your patterns if I could
You r literally ur own vibe which in love because it’s so goofy 😂❤
I love you omg :')

When she draped it over that white top, I thought that material would’ve looked so much better as a saree!
Great with one Word

Omg i recently bought that same fabric for my first dress project! It’s so beautiful!
Beautiful fabric! I can't wait to see how it turns out. That shiny gray gabric would be very sexy as a bustier, as well.

When I saw this fabric it reminded me of Monica’s new years outfit in the first season. Maybe if you had more of the same fabric you could try that

Good googly moogly… I think I love you.
Where’d you get your shirt? It’s adorable! 😍
You also could have made a reversible one to get both sides :D
can you explain the bias tape and hem part again???? I'm a bit confused.

At first I was like ya no!
I’m pretty sure the more shiny and pigmented side is the right side
Can you show how you sew the elastic to the skirt
That's like the perfect fabric for the invisibility cloak from harry potter
My sister does and I want to try it too! Do you have a project that you think would be good for a beginner?
Hiya! Both the patterns in this video are beginner friendly!
Hey Kiki do you have a tutorial on how to sew elastic on? I always have a problem with it because of my sewing machine. 😢
What are those little yellow circle things you are using? I’m a beginner in sewing and wanted to know if it’s something I need.
Sweet.❤🎉
Once again this is to all you newbies out there, Maxi dress or skirt is a maxi dress because it is a long mini dresses are short...
I like the shiny side
i was gonna ask where you got your top from then i realised 😭 you probably made it yourself 😭😭😭
I want to gift my mom a new sewing machine, but I'm not sure which one is the best since not every machine can work with every fabric. What is your machine? Would you recommend it? Thank you 🥺
Do you need to stretch the elastic band and pin it before you sow it or you can sow it and the thread will allow it to stretch?
You'll have to hem it from time to time.
I WANNA LEARN HOW DO MAKE
CLOTHES
لحد يقولها انو هذا قماش ستارة 🤭😂😭😭😭
OOHH this is why girls take 3 hours to get ready
How do I save thissss CZcams please let me save shorts
Where did you get your manquin
Soooo what about the bias need time to stretch out how? Why? I’ve never heard of that and I must know
Bro I need to learn how to sew

I've always wondered how do ppl use the dress form to make dresses for bigger ppl?
Where do you get the cutting Matt and sewing pizza cutter?? That’s so much easier than shears
If only she can stop by my house, help me stitch my front seats for my '56 Ford. Make dinner afterwards lol.
There are hundreds of millions of women that do them in 30min.

Can someone explain to me more about the bias cut stretching out overnight 😭 im new to sewing and would love to find out more about this
Pls make a jump suit 🙏🙏
what's the benefit of having a bias cut skirt?
Wow I should have studied fashion designing
Can you tell me what type of fabric it is?
How you thought about doing a reversible skirt depending on the fabric/paint?
That would be fun! It wouldn’t quite work with this pattern though I’d need to change it
how do u print it out so big
You aren't talking fast enough. Can you speed it up?⚡
Slacks would of been cute too
Your turtleneck pattern looks so nice but there isn't my size, it's too small :(
Bias cut stretching?! What is this waiting magic I’ve never heard of? Does it vary on the weight of the fabric? I hate math.
