  • I needed an easier way to notch this thick tubing for my traction bar. So I took a friends advice and used my EVOLUTION saw and wow it works great! Easy tube notching! (Saddle, Cope, Notch, Fishmouth, Whatever you want to call it)
The Evolution saw I used: amzn.to/3oF01fO
But I used the STEEL blade: amzn.to/2YwElHx

Took a few tries to get it right (mostly due to missing the mark slightly)
ALSO You can use this same method for notching tube with a grinder, sawzall, bandsaw, portaband, etc rather than a notcher or hole saw!

Your jeep fits out the garage? Looks pretty damn tall. Your content is top notch. Thanks

Thanks! Surprisingly it does fit but I have to have no top on, I had to fix the door to get it to open a little farther, and the roll bar scrapes a little. If I air down it fully clears the door ! Thx for watchin!

@@FlawedOffroad you should round the ears (sharp points) of your notches. When they are sharp like that all the stress on that joint gets directed to the that point. Eventually that will cause a stress fracture in the weld and the weld will fail.

@@jrautofabwerksllc7556 I highly recommend doing a practice notch or 2 on a chunk of scrap, and if youre using a weird angle even try it with a tp tube to check fitment
