      Yes you can come on language visa and learn language first and afterwards you can go back to your home country or you can join the study program.

    Is it better to go for studentenwerk or private accommodation in Clausthal particularly as private accommodation seems cheaper than STW.

    • @RaghavAroraa
      @RaghavAroraa  Před 3 lety +1

      It depends upon you and it's usually hard to find private accommodation cheaper than hostel and mostly when you pay less for private accommodation than most probably you'll having common kitchen and bathroom. But here in hostel each person will get his own kitchen and bathroom.

    Hi bhai Ram Ram, one thing I've seen is that students go to Goslar to work part time. So can we get a monthly pass being a language student or is that exclusive for University Students only?

    • @RaghavAroraa
      @RaghavAroraa  Před 2 lety

      Ram Ram bhai, only university students can get monthly pass at discounted price but language students can make monthly pass.

    Hi Raghav .. do we have part time job opportunities in Clausthal-Zellerfeld or nearby as a student job to bear expenses? I am asking as it’s a small town bt May be in Goslar (if there is no travel cost involved) or Clausthal itself- considering no less german as an Indian

    • @RaghavAroraa
      @RaghavAroraa  Před 3 lety +1

      Hello Himanshi, you can find part time jobs in mostly Goslar or Hanenklee but you should know German language, because you are mostly going to find jobs in resturants or hotels. In goslar you can get job in MacDonald or Subway. In Hanenklee there are resturants and hotels where mostly students get part-time jobs. You can now get a monthly pass if you are a university student for 15€( per month) till Goslar and 30€(per month) for whole Niedersachsen. In Clausthal Zellerfeld there are verly slim chance that you are going to get job. So, you have to try hard as compare to bigger cities.

    • @thatlondongirl1053
      @thatlondongirl1053 Před 3 lety +1

      Raghav Arora thank you so much for the useful info .. one quick question- are you also doing part time or was able to find a one.. this comparison would help a lot

    • @RaghavAroraa
      @RaghavAroraa  Před 3 lety +1

      Currently i am not doing any job, because i am busy with learning German. So after completion of my language will find one, but friend of mine is doing a job in Hanenklee.

    • @thatlondongirl1053
      @thatlondongirl1053 Před 3 lety +1

      Raghav Arora wow great.. ur friend speaks german , as far as I know I being an Indian can learn few basic words but fluent german to talk with a native is quite tough , don’t know if this language can become a blocker to get a part time job

    • @RaghavAroraa
      @RaghavAroraa  Před 3 lety +1

      Yeah he has been around here for 1 year and completed his language and can speak fluently with Germans, without German language survival here is tough and i got to know a person who has been living here in germany for almost 8+ years and didn't learn the language because his course is in English and after masters he got a job but due to corona he has lost his job and now no one is recruiting him as he can't speak language.
      So decide wisely 🤞

    There are 8 9 hostels as per ur link.. how to choose ? Which one would be close /near to TUC

    • @RaghavAroraa
      @RaghavAroraa  Před 3 lety

      The Hostels are allined parallel to each other and the building in which kartik lives is 8(VIII). So it's almost like 1km towards University and 500m towards library.
