Good transition. Sgt. DePalo is one of my favorite beats since my son served in the US Army and I enjoyed watching him march. Clear message to me that only the powerful benefit from war, and the rest of us are left to clean up the mess and carry on no matter our personal losses. When will humanity learn from history?
No idea when, if at all. The main root of war seems to be tribal thinking and the resulting behaviour. As long as people divide themselves and others into groups, there will always be conflict and war. We are all just different parts of the same thing. Once one truly realizes that, he knows hurting others is like hurting himself.
