Never tried it - but I will now. Thank you Colin.
Wow! Another lightbulb moment. Love these super useful quick tips. Thank you.
didn't know about vanishing point. thanks!!
Yay! now you do :)
As always, I learned something new. Thanks! Love Photoshop Cafe!!
Great vid. Never tried vanishing before but will do now. Thanks.👍
One of the most valuable Photoshop tips I've ever received. Thank you very much and best regards from Germany!
first practical example of working with vanishing point (perspective). Suddenly thinking of many applications, thanks for sharing
Im really glad you like it
Thanks for this tutorial. Been wanting to play with vanishing point for some time. Appreciate it!
Enjoy it!
yes I used it before did not know about the new layer thanks for sharing
Great! I also hope the X key is useful for zooming temporary
Perspective has always been a pain in the arse, but this might just be the medication needed to ease that pain.
Thanks Colin
Its a great tool for drawing perspective grids too for guides
Yes, I have worked with vanishing point but never with layers. Thank you for a great tip!
glad it was useful
Thanks a lot of this tutorial
Just tried it out. It works beautifully and easy. Thanks for showing
Glad it worked for you
Great! Didn’t know about this feature. What I do is convert the editable text layer to a smart object; then I distort it, so it becomes sort of a mock-up than can be changed again and again
Good plan
I knew about this feature however your tutorial takes some of the complication out of previous tutorials I've seen. Nice job.
I have not worked in vanishing point! Thanks for making it look easy.
Have fun with it
Thanks Colin, splendid tut.
Glad it was useful
Yes, No. I'm mostly a photographer and haven't used Vanishing Point in years. But if you need it, it is fantastic. Thanks for reminding me.
always a useful tool
Muchas gracias .
That's the coolest thing ever! Well, almost, but it is pretty sweet. I'll definitely try it.
Im glad you like it
Thanks Colin. I've learnt something new.
I'm so happy to hear it
all my perspective has been using warp or slow manipulations, never vanishing point, yes re layers. thanks for the workaround!
hope it helps
Cool! Thank you! I didn't know this!
Thanks for checking it out
Never used this feature -- but can imagine all sorts of uses now that I have seen it in action
great!
Wow, this awesome. I haven't worked with perspective, but I love and use layers all the time, in Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign, and I am working on the Adobe's online tutorials, as well as watching your tutorials and other tutorials I have found. I have been looking at Apple products, in particular, the I-Mac, I-Pad Pro (12.9), and the I-Phone 8 Plus and I-Phone 10. I also been looking at accessories and the Apple TV. I will look for some pictures to do this on. Thank you for this cool tutorial. Apple will have another event tomorrow at 10 am PST. You can find it on the Apple website. I hope they will talk about the new I-Mac 2018 along with whatever else they will be talking about. October 15th is the Adobe Maxx Conference, can't wait to watch that online, and Ron Howard will be one of the Key Note Speakers. Do you know how to create a circular progress bar in Photoshop?
i had never use this option thanx
Nope !!
I used to do the same using free transformation+ctl !!
This is a good tip for me, Sir . . .
awesome
I've always hatted VP, but maybe I'll give another try.
Its a useful tool for the right job
Thanks . have not worked in vanishing point!
Its a useful tool and can do so much more, I have another tutorial on it on my channel
Thank you sir.. you are educating a ton of people around the globe !!!
Would love to see a new Adobe Dimensions tutorial. Especially after all the new updates!
Did you see this one I made? czcams.com/video/KQ9dHyBaeRQ/video.html
I don't even know what is vanishing point! LOL
Your Tutorials are very easy
Have not worked with perspective in many years... back in the day when it first came out the examples showed moving windows and paintings by duplicating and then moving...
yeah, I remember those
How would you change the floor of your image with a new material? It's a 2 point perspective. Thanks!
IT really looks neat, but I cannot figure how to copy that which I want to paste and drag to the vanishing point plane, if I leave the filter and go to a another layer or another document and copy something and go back to VP it will not past.
Where do you grab it from?
1. Ctrl+C to copy. Hide the layer. 2. create new layer and make sure it's selected 3. in Vanishing Point Ctrl+V to paste it
Thank you
thanks
plz make a video on logo
Its exactly the same steps for a logo
Steve Vai fan, take my like!
Never used Vanishing Point
Fanfuckingtastic.
No and no ;)
