Is there other areas in the highlands of Cerro Azul that are not included in the national park with communities available? I would like to grill and cook outside but James said that was prohibited.
Yes you have to keep going up the mountain but the availability for rentals drastically decreases. You can buy your own lot and build your house up there too
Grilling and cooking outside is allowed on your own property, only campfires/open pit fires are not allowed.

Living in the city in Panama it’s too much! The traffic is a nightmare. There are so many beautiful places to choose. Pick the country side!
The great thing about living in Cerro Azul is that you can completely avoid going into downtown Panama City. Everything you need it close to Cerro Azul
