- Dinah Laurel Lance is my favourite character on the television show, "Arrow" and I wanted to make a retrospective video on her that sort of looked at her journey. Personally, I think what makes Laurel so invincible is her heart and it's the defining thing about the character that I love. She has the biggest heart of anyone on the show, and in the first season it was about opening her heart back up after years of being closed off and allowing people into her life and allowing herself to trust what her heart was telling her -- whether that be to embrace her feelings for Oliver over Tommy, or to trust the Arrow versus her father's opinion of him, etc. The second season gave us Laurel with a broken heart, and how she responds to the grief and to the loss that she's experiencing. She ultimately grows stronger because of it and develops this heart of steel where she is more understand, and she is more forgiving and loving of those who don't necessarily deserve her compassion or forgiveness. She's grown so much stronger that in the wake of another tragedy, she doesn't descend back into a closed off state of being or descend back into dark territory, but instead she channels this into physically becoming as strong as the heart she has which drives her; she becomes the Black Canary.

This video was a great testament to the strength and heat of Laurel Lance. You did an amazing job at showcasing Laurel as someone who is struggling, who has every reason to give up, but she doesn't because she's a fighter. She's going from victim to hero and this video did a great job in showing that.

I'm still not over the fact they killed her off, I know she came back as black siren and I love her when she plays bad. It's just not the same tho, plus we all know they only reason they killed her off was to prop up olicity as always. If it wasn't for the fact that I love Katie and Stephen so much I prolly wouldn't watch anymore cuz of the olicity crap that is forced and shoved down our throats

This is AMAZING!!! I've missed your videos, though you've probably been vidding like crazy and I just haven't seen them because I'm never on CZcams anymore. But anyway, that was great. I love how much you love Laurel, and how much your love for her really shines through when you make these videos. It reminds me of your love for Chloe. I've never seen you be as passionate about a character as you were, and still are, for Chloe Sullivan, so I'm really glad you've found that with Laurel. I only wish more people felt the same way about her. But onto your video, I feel like I say the same things every time I leave a comment. Beautiful editing, scene selections were amazing and you laid out your effects and timing perfectly. Also this song suited Laurel so much, and its Kelly Clarkson, an artist you love matched with a character you love. This video couldn't go wrong, and it didn't! GREAT JOB JACK!! :D
